Added reply in a thread White plastic renew 7/7/2019 8:32 PM

Purple power and mr clean magic erasers make white plastics look literally brand new. Had an all white yzf a while ago and tore all the plastics off and scrubbed them for a bit. Looked like new. The graphics also became white again.

Added reply in a thread Best fan kit for 350sxf? 7/6/2019 4:12 PM

Its more for preventive measures. Also i can then ride more technical trails and be able to use the clutch without worrying about it boiling over. KTM does make it a fan kit but its more expensive over other brands ive seen just because its got KTM on ... more »

I plan on getting some KTM&HUSKY rad guards with the bottom brace next week sometime and want to order a fan kit as well. I use my 350sxf as a woods bike and it gets quiet hot. Its still on stock pink coolant (which i am switching to engine ice), ... more »

Started new thread SSS Internal swapping 4CS forks? 6/29/2019 7:17 PM

Wondering who has done this and what results you got? My suspension guy has some SSS internals from a 06 YZ250 and I asked him about it since I saw someone on here do it to their WP forks. He said it could work but it would be difficult as he has only ... more »

Added reply in a thread 06 YZ250 crankshaft bearing replacement 6/29/2019 2:50 PM

Order all oem parts and buy the correct tools and follow some online tutorial videos like from RMATV and you will be set. Also freeze the new bearings and get yourself a handheld gas torch to heat the cases.

Added reply in a thread Time Sert for 2015 Ktm 125 sx - Question/help 6/29/2019 11:55 AM

Fix it correctly. Time serts are only good on small things like a stripped fork guard hole or something. Replace the case and be done with it.

I have this issue with the bars jerking all over the place when riding slower stuff or even faster trails with roots or objects you have to go over. I rode yesterday at a place that is 85% rocks with sand. There are some spots were you have to slow down ... more »

Added reply in a thread What to look for when inspecting bikes 6/14/2019 3:55 PM

I always look for: - Are the covers ragged out? Like barely any paint, big gouges, decent sized dents? Are they aftermarket or recently replaced? Small normal wear is fine. - Bolts being mismatched is a good one. I dont mind hardware store bolts on say ... more »

Thor makes solid gear. If you wear knee braces no pants will last very long. But regular knee pads/shin guards should have no issue. Id say get it.

Idk why everyone on here is ragging on used bikes like everyone wanting another bike has 10k to throw at a brand new one. Personally I would get it if you could get him down to 2000-2100 range. And have him take it to a shop of your choice and have them ... more »

Added reply in a thread KTM 350 chain options 6/9/2019 10:34 PM

Exactly. Unless you're some supercross/motocross pro you wont notice a difference. Normal non oring or xring chains wear in like 30 hours and cost about $15-20 cheaper. Just spend the $100 on a real good oring/xring and it will easily last 2 sets of ... more »

Can get a crazy deal on both. $65 per wheel tubliss or $40 a wheel mousses. Both are brand new. Guy bought both to try but had to sell everything bike wise. Anyways, i hear mixed reviews on both. Never had either. Always ran tubes. Not very fond of possibly ... more »
