A bunch of posts went missing from last night, but I think this is interesting when putting the death numbers into perspective. The "original" top 10 causes were from the CDC for 2017, probably not much change since then.

Cops have beaten people who have no money and their family is on the verge of losing it all...…. Certainly not all of them, or even most of them, but it isn't like it'd be something brand new.

Just to be clear, that 60-80K figure is total deaths from fluS and pneumonia. Those are lumped together because there are times when flu is a contributing factor but not listed as a cause of death. I think it was pretty widely reported that it was a ... more »

After those boring tasks, I decided I would finally wire in more power receptacles in the garage.

I kept flipping a main breaker, though, but I came up with a sure fire way to fix it from that annoying shutoff. ... more »

Loaner cars are a bit different, as the dealer and the manufacturer treat those as a “sold” vehicle even though the manufacturer warranty usually doesn’t start until it’s actually sold to a retail customer. Her deaths are overstated by about 50% for the first year of the outbreak. This virus will probably surpass the deaths from 12 months of the swine flu in the first 40 days or so since the first US death. That should wake people up a little bit.....
