I’m excited about the new 250 but I am disappointed to see it doesn’t have the same fork as the 450.

I’ve got a bike with all ti bolts and I used a copper based anti seize but did not realize the torque amount would need to be different. It makes sense now that I think about it.

Mosier Valley 2003 night practice. I was 15 on my RM125. There was a pretty small single to tabletop that was real easy. On the first lap of the first practice I seat bounced it not realizing it had been refaced. I went over the bars and landed hard ... more »

Wasn’t Eli leading the points coming into SLC? He had a better win percentage before getting there. He won 5 of the first 10 races. He then won just 2 of the 7 SLC rounds.

Reply to 2020 KX 450f otd pricing. 7/4/2020 11:30 AM

$8,250 out the door with tax, freight, setup, and fees sounds reasonable to me. That’s about the best price I could find out the door when I was looking last year.

I take it that it eventually went away for you? I crashed on a snow bike in March, flipped over the bars, and it started about a week after that. It wasn’t that bad though. I had a chest X-ray a few weeks ago which looked good. They were looking at my ... more »

I'm fine with taking that much ibuprofen every once in a while. Ibuprofen is my go-to when I have a bad headache that won't got away. I just didn't and still don't want to take that much of it (3 times a day for 7 days straight).

A coworker told me yesterday a good friend of his tested positive last week. The friend told him it felt like the flu for 5 days but he's back to normal now. It is very odd how it affects people so differently.

Well balls, I was hoping some people on here had gone through this and knew a few tricks to getting rid of it. I do sometimes shop at Costco but hadn't thought of eliminating that from my routine. I'll give that a try!

Reply to Leaving Mote due to injury, alternatives? 6/26/2020 9:14 AM

I stopped riding for about 6 years and went through a lot of different hobbies to fill the void. Karting is fun but it was even more of a hassle than moto in my experience. There aren’t that many tracks, if any, in some areas and the cost can be quite ... more »

It matters who you race, not where. All of the series have the same people racing each race so where they do it is irrelevant. It’s not like they’re going to different areas facing new competitors.

I'm thinking straight up nails instead. Think about it, they could use a nail gun in the assembly line. That will totally speed up production!

Didn’t Kawi make the first 110? At the time Yamaha had the TTR-90

Reply to Bobby Hewitt podium sweep 6/22/2020 6:21 AM

What are you talking about? I’m not fishing for anything. Not sure why you reacted the way you did to my comment. Bobby needs to say something, anything, because it seems like nobody has heard from him. We have people sign NDA’s all of the time in my ... more »

I thought Ryan Breece fell on him?

Reply to Bobby Hewitt podium sweep 6/21/2020 4:02 PM

How did Bobby just fall off the face of the earth? Husqvarna refusing to talk about it sure does make it seem like he’s in some sort of trouble.

Reply to Chase Sexton 6/21/2020 3:48 PM

Chase definitely ramped up his speed this year but he also became very arrogant and entitled in my opinion. He’s young, I get it, but I have a feeling he’s about to get a large serving of well needed humble pie in the 450 class.

Interesting. Seems like less ventilation than the current one.
