I remember getting some baseball type cards from Poto and Stewart when they were on 80’s at the Open. Anyone still have any? I don’t think mine survived.

Loved those races. Eric did a fantastic job putting that whole thing together. Even stayed for the am days on Sunday, like we didn’t get enough the 2 pro days prior. Our kids were young, racing was always intense, great memories. Can’t be repeated.

For me this story was far more about being a good human being and making someone else’s dreams come true. Rick got to ride in America, at Pala because of your efforts and his talent. The results will never get in the way of that part of the story. I ... more »

You’ve made the sport better and that’s all any of us can hope to do. Well done sir, we’ll done!

Yes he has. JMC has backed him the last couple years in SX. Carson’s a great kid, fast kid, just needs to figure out the not getting hurt part. Always wish Carson all the best.

My first time seeing this track. This is epicness at its finest! The dirt is everything one would want for a track. And these hills, wow! Should be a great day weather wise. Racing starts an hour early, 450s up first from the looks of it.

Awesomeness! I met you years ago at a Supercross and always enjoy reading your post here. I absolutely love an unplanned future. Hope you do also.

I’ll be there also. Shoot me a text and we’ll catch up. Should be great racing, especially the 250’s.

SX, MX and F1. Drive to survive is going to end up costing us a ton of money by the time we fly overseas to watch a couple these!

Had that exact surgery 10 years ago or so. Never had an issue since. Good as new. Just let it heal properly

Reply to Marv’s crash 3/15/2021 7:55 PM

There are yellow lights, 2 sets, flashing in the lane soon as he hit. The lights face the riders, not the crowd. I’m sure it’s been tried both ways but it was determined that having them facing the riders was far more important. Why on earth would a ... more »

2 sets of yellow lights flashing on that lane before the turn.

Reply to Where did Rutledge hide the yellow flags? 3/14/2021 10:48 AM

Yes, 2 sets of yellow lights before Marv. One set at the beginning and one one the table before the turn. Both were on instantly. Maybe Rutledge should do a segment on how yellow lights flash and warn the riders for the new fans?

Honestly don’t remember it was 10 years ago or more. I’m thinking it was a couple months. But I’ve always been one to subscribe to letting things heal properly because you only have one chance at that

Blew mine back on a start straight crash and had to have surgery to pin the ligaments back on. Let it heal and it’s been fine ever since.
