ML had mentioned something about some unlisted changes like spring rate etc. Have not heard confirmation though.
It’s an ‘88 with Pro Circuit tweaked motor and modern suspension. The things that make it vintage in my mind are the chassis size and geometry which are very ‘80’s.
I️ believe that’s an ‘88.
F ing awesome!
Where has it been stated that there is a 4hp gain for the 250?
Believe ML said “some” but not all of the updates the ‘19 450 got with full upgrade for ‘21. Depending on what those “some updates” are, could be nice. If it’s just body work, no big deal. If it’s same engine updates, much more significant. Anyone have ... more »
Word on the street is that Mike Williamson had been strictly limiting is colorways to the following. Green/green Greener/green Green/greener Greener/greener and maybe a touch of neon green All of the above with just a bit of black ?
What’s wrong with Eli? ?
Nope
More like spring rate or valving changes on the suspension etc.
ML says slight tweaks to the 450 for 2020.

I️ bet one of the things it took to get him to re-sign was the departure of a certain someone. Both his results and mood improve once that happened.
I️ think he was happy with his result, happy that his team and bike are now dialed in, happy the season is over. Ready to rock it outdoors.
Can we please just back to the What’s Wrong With Eli threads?
You really can’t count Daytona as it’s a totally different beast. Plus, I️’d imagine positive results wouldn’t come immediately. There’d be some testing needed to figure things out. So far he looks better on the bike and happier since MW’s departure. ... more »
ML, did MW not let Savatgy make changes either? If, he was not limit, why was it only Eli? If Savatgy was limited as well, presumably we’ll see even more out of him these few rounds.
Pretty obvious to me that they added a flux capacitor.
He stays at Kawi. He said something along the lines of wanting to get the setup straight before the end of this season so he would be set when next year started. That wouldn’t matter if he was leaving Kawi.
Basically that Eli has been fighting bike setup all season.
