Fortunately, this confirms Eli and AC made the right decision by not going. Unfortunately, that race makes it less likely our top guys will want to go in the future. Shame really.
I️ can’t wait for Joey Savatgy to sign with JGR because he’ll tell us the truth about Suzukis and settle this debate once and for all 😬. Until then, pick a color and go have fun.
He contradicted himself throughout the entire interview. Seriously, we just need to move on at this point.
Looks good and he’s already looking pretty comfy on the 450.
I️’ve heard we might know more when we get to 2020 but was told 99.9% chance they will be orange. Another source said .1% chance they won’t be orange. Of course I️ can’t name my sources.
So you don’t like Eli. That’s fine but that’s not what this is about. This is about someone telling one side of a story without the other being able to defend himself. You can search the web to find unflattering interviews with Eli but he and his family ... more »
I️ just don’t understand why some people are so willing to believe what Joey said. There is another side to the story that we will likely never hear because the Tomacs are private people and wouldn’t want to wade into this BS.
That’s assuming you believe him. Again, we are only hearing Joeys side of this story. ET is not likely to jump into this stuff so I️ doubt we’ll ever hear his side. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.
At Thunder Alley he said he wrecked in Moto 1 because he was out of shape and fighting the bike. Spent 2nd. moto testing settings and making changes. The bike did not fail. In the 2nd moto at Millville he said he made a poor line choice and got stuck ... more »
True. This was once early on in the development of a brand now bike. In my opinion, happening once doesn’t warrant someone saying “all the bike failures”. He had other issues that he said in the interview were caused by wrecks from him riding over his ... more »
Did the fan pay him anything for the $1 million gift he got? Must have since Joey didn’t bitch about it interview. There’s two sides to every story so I️’d love to hear the other side one day.
Which motos?
I know Joey hit the dirt a few times and that damaged the bike but I️ don’t recall times where the bike just gave up.
It’s depressing having the red plate and a 40 point lead with only 2 races to go.
What’s AC doing? Trying to get good at riding a new bike with almost twice the displacement What’s ET doing? Trying to win SX race series championship. I’m bummed they aren't doing De Nations but I understand it this year. No excuses next year.
I think it’s pretty simple. AC needs the time to get up to speed on the 450 and ET wants the time to prep of SX.
The new (2020) motor is supposed to be so much better. Would bolt right up to the current bike. I️ know they haven’t had time to do race R&D on it but I️ wonder if they’d go to the new motor if he was really starting to loose ground point wise.
Good point! I️ think he’s using every bit of power that bike has to offer given his size. Really hope he adjusts to the 450 quickly because there could/should be some epic battles next year.
Is it me our does AC look like a giant on that 250?
That’s true but everyone’s lap times dropped like that. Except Tomacs.
