Re-launch the ‘81 RM125/250x and they’d sell all day. Jokes aside, sad to hear this as others have pointed out, not a good sign for the overall health of the sport.
Never met a Kawi I didn’t love (though the early ‘80’s rear fender/number plate models pushed it).
They have been belly up for awhile now.
Yep
Looks the the works swing arms off the time. Nice!
‘81 KXs had them as well.
He wanted a modern 2-stroke. KTM is really the only choice.
Looks like they are using slightly more air pressure in the front tire. Slightly less air in the rear.
That’s mine as well!
Accident=unintentional. This was an accident. I’m glad he apologized though.
Yawn......KTM should just make the same bike in blue, yellow, red and green. Lame IMO.
Word on the street is that all the other teams are scrambling to make their suspensions make the same sounds 😬
KX is the easier bike to go fast on.
Aggressive but clean in my book. You could tell he was trying not make contact or take-out anyone during the passes. Didn’t appear Ken had any issues with it either.
Yes
That’s a 250 engine in a current gen 450 chassis. The ‘21 will look just like that thought.
It was a budget thing for Kawi. They accelerated development of the 450 which took resources from the 250. They did the engine and suspension in ‘20 leaving the rest for ‘21.
I wouldn’t think so. Pipes are made to manipulate engine characteristics. Given the characteristics of the ‘19 and ‘20 are very different, I would think the pipes would be too. Not sure though.
