When you combine Johnny T’s comments with what Nerd has said (and was supported by ML512) and then look at Eli’s results since Williamson left......... sorta hard to argue against this.

There a video/interview out there somewhere with Eli talking about how much he likes the new bike and that it is especially better for Supercross. Strange that its not turned out that way.

So if he is slowing because he wants to off the team, what team would want someone with that lack of character? Better for him to win the title to get more money and make Kwai wish he’d stayed.

Nobody can really argue that the ‘19 KX isn’t a great bike. Maybe it’s taking Eli time to dial in the race bike but the production bike is a great place to start. I️ really can’t see him switching teams to have to go through that process all over again. ... more »

What’s very telling is that the faster times for the 250F guys is now darn close to the top 450 guys. That extra 200cc doesn’t look to make much difference in Supercross. I️ don’t think the risk of injury and how they tear up tracks make 450’s worth ... more »

No doubt better. I️ will say though that older bikes are not too far off. I️ rode a 1985 KX125 back in 2004 and was surprised that the KX was not that bad compared to my ‘04 YZ125. Like most things, it depends on what you’re looking for out of you bike. ... more »
