Reply to Don't buy your kid cheap boots 7/16/2021 2:06 PM

I brought our bikes up last summer to Michigan to take my FIL riding with me. Gave him my Tech 7's so he wouldn't hurt his feet, and used my trial boots (i.e. near no ankle/foot protection) for myself. Figured he works on his feet all day, and it'd be

Glad i bought my '21 when i did. Looks like Beta is doing a price correction like Sherco did in 2021. $500 MSRP increase on the non-RR's for 22. Few little quirks with Beta, but overall for the price it was a bargain and very rideable. If it nears Austrian ... more »

I'm sure it's being done already. Personally, i'm not buying a project from a guy in Canada (or anywhere not semi-local) I've been burned too many times from "fabricators" that end up doing crap work. Not saying you are, but all my work now goes semi-local ... more »

Reply to Is a Sherco worth buying? 4/21/2021 6:32 PM

I don't think that's the case. If you advertise on craigslist, yes. If you advertise on the facebook groups geared towards the brand or offroad, shouldn't be a problem. They and Beta are grown in popularity in recent years and are/were a bargain buy ... more »

Did you adjust the power valve to change the hit? I believe all the Beta 2T's are adjustable with the turn of a screw. (250 and 300 for sure are, images look like the 125 & 200 are as well but could be wrong)

It's an off road bike. Who sits when riding trails? I'm standing up 99.5% of the time.

Trials riding has improved my riding tremendously (granted i ride trials, no MX). Ledges (up and down) are easier, turning is easier, finding traction is easier. Really helped me change how i ride and use better techniques. Granted i still suck, but ... more »

Depends on the series you ride in, if you do. In Michigan, it was a requirement for the enduros and trials events we did. In Texas, so far it's not been required.

Reply to Fractured T8 and T9. Would you keep riding? 3/5/2021 4:42 PM

There are other forms of riding other than the track if you're body can handle it. Golf is boring as hell. I'd spend more on lost golf balls than it costs to ride. You are likely close to some of the best trials riding in the country (trials training ... more »

Outside of new plastics and some minor updates, don't see anything special from what we had in previous years in the states. We just sold a 2019 125 RR-S 4T that my wife had for just about a year. In theory, it's one of the best bikes on the market if ... more »

Nice! What made you go XCW over XC? Out of curiosity, was it MSRP + fees? Eyeballing a 21 Beta 300 Race edition if i can convince the wife to move up to my Xtrainer. Seems they're all MSRP + delivery. No one wanting to move so far.

I highly doubt he paid anywhere near $83k. We've always been successful getting 10k+ off our F150's & F250s over the last decade.
