Really interesting comments after moto 2 from Jett regarding his pace and race craft. Paraphrasing, he kept a small gap because if he increased the pace, Hunter would just latch on to the increased pace early on. So he blipped around to a 3 second lead til the 15 minute mark, then banged out two consecutive quali laps to a 10 sec gap, then cruised it in.
Wonder if he would do it differently with someone else? I have a feeling this is what the podcasts are going to talk about this week.

Hunter was on Jetts rear wheel for 15 minutes with both consistently in the 1:57, then JT started yapping that Jett should let Hunter by and Js7 agreed and then shortly after Jett decides to drop a 1:55 and is just gone, I thought that was hilarious 😂
The amount of times these broadcasters go “he should just let him by” is so bizarre. It would make sense if they said that about lappers but it’s always when someone is battling for the lead.

James has a tendency to make a prediction and then when he gets it wrong he tries to cover his tracks. It’s rather funny/stupid.

It was a good display of the tactics required between the two brothers because they know each other so well.
Jett knew Hunter wouldn’t let up, so he had to put on a blitz to break the tow.
Meanwhile Hunter said he was just backing off a touch before planning another attack, and that was the exact moment “the little shit” decided to sprint 😂

The let them by is an rc thing. James always would say hed absolutely neverrr do that, but rc said it so many times now for some reason james has said it a couple times now too. James shouldnt copy any rickyisms and hell be much better off imo.
He is a very smart rider.
Think about this..... Must be nice to know that IF Jett was actually bunching the group up??? He has stud enough race craft to bunch up the whole gang, THEN easily sprint away to cruise it in. Holding up that entire field is no easy task, considering his brother flat out beat down the whole class a week earlier. Face facts..... This class as a whole will be the Lawrence show for a good foreseeable future. No YouTube, RIP shirts, excess mouthiness, WWE shit..... Just pure speed, talent, and work. Sad part? Jett isn't 100% yet.....

Stewart sounded like an idiot. They’re trying to make it like there’s a race that’s not going on. No one is gonna beat Jett straight up the rest of the season. His only comp is himself. He’s toying with the field, his brother included.

Jett employed this tactic against Sexton back in 2023 in Millville. The dude’s race craft is 10/10.

Watching Jett throw a scrub over the first jump at Hangtown and then shoot the inside, passing Cooper Webb like it was cake work. Then Hunter trailing right with him, wide open throttles.
Those guys are on another level.
