26 field is way more stacked. Haiden beat everyone Jett did at Pala in 2023.
Now before people start angry typing, yes Jett is the better rider on the 450.

You guys have way too much spare time.
I’m blown away by the fact they shaved 4 seconds (J) and 7 seconds (H) off the fastest laps in the second moto when the track was in worse shape. These freaking guys are aliens at this level.

Why not just compare Jett to every rookie premier class rider. How many had an exact record as Jett and what were their names?
(crickets)
Are you saying that if they both got on a 250 now Haiden would beat him?
RC and RV recently I'm not going to think back further than that
Add Herlings, he went 1-1 in his first ever AMA 450 MX race
why does that matter?
The last comment.
This leaves it open to say Deegen is better on a 250, do you really think peak 250 Haiden would beat peak Jett?
"Now before people start angry typing, yes Jett is the better rider on the 450"
This ^^
Except maybe 2023 Sexton, Todays Haiden would have beaten these guys back then.
Wouldn’t have beaten prime chase the way he started and rode today. No.
Prime chase was never faster then jett.
but faster as Deegan his first 450 race for sure
Prime Chase is on par with Jett top speed-wise, he just gets overwhelmed when Jett’s on the line for some reason.
Dude you are trying way too hard….give it time it’s only been one race…
You teenagers can't even enjoy good racing anymore. Complain about the broadcast every minute, the announcing, the speed of the bikes and now Deegan will be mentioned for 60 min +4 every weekend.
Doesn't remove first lap? Amateur hour...
Pit Row
They had a brieff "battle" in moto1, still havent found pictures of that for my new wallpapers and posters on my wall
don't forget interview with Deegan but not J-Coop
Why are we talking about prime Chase? Kawasaki Chase literally crashed and was all over Deegan at the finish.
I'm starting to think being a Debbie Downer is becoming a sport all it's own.
The industry has looked over j coop his whole career. Quietly chipping away and will win one of these soon.
I said the same thing after Jett went 1-1 in his 2023 450MX debut. “It’s only been one race, give it time.”
That said, I think Deegan had a really good and successful day in his 450MX debut. Nothing to be ashamed and plenty to be proud of.
Comparatively, Jett had a phenomenal and record-setting day in his 450MX debut… and then had 10 more days of 1-1’s to back it up.
Do you think Deegan will achieve a 1-1 in his rookie 450MX season? He could, but I don’t think it would be in the commanding way that Jett did it.
Deegan, in his own words, said that he was there to learn, while Jett, in his 450MX rookie debut, came to teach.
He's turned out to be a hell of a 450 sx and mx rider. Well rounded in both. Will he ever beat the Lawrence's? No but he's going to have an amazing career to look back on when its all said and done. One we could only dream of
It’s amazing how people glaze and skew numbers to meet their desired outcome.
There are so many different factors to each season that simply saying so and so did this or beat that in previous years is just ignorant. Just stfu and enjoy like 4 phenoms from different parts of the world, from different series and backgrounds go at it.
Like what’s the point of these retard fans?
Was Jett’s rookie race better? Yep
Is Deegan still a fucking animal and his trajectory is sky high? Yep
Does that somehow make Deegan suck? Nope
Does that make Jett unbeatable? Nope
A data set of one doesn’t give much information..
38 rode pretty damn good, top 5 is a great debut, he fouled the water with his chirping, he looks to me like he’s got more speed if he calms down/smooths out some.
But we really need 3 or more data points to know anything. This could have been his worst race of the season, or his best. In July we’ll have something to look at, results wise. And I bet he’ll flap his jaw no matter what..
So did Jett lol
I’m guessing because Deegan has been saying he would beat Jett, “RIP Jett”, etc. and talking about being 22-0. None of the other guys said that coming in.
That said, this thread is kinda silly and yesterdays races were awesome!
I think his current style on a 450 isn’t going to work well in SX. But I think he’s gonna figure that out in the next 4-5 races..
