I need some help and am looking for a bit of guidance. I haven’t bought a brand new bike since the early 00s. After many used bikes. I’ve found myself in a position to get my “dream bike” I’m looking to get a 2026 KTM 350 xcf factory edition. With the 27’ models hitting the showrooms, I’m curious what kind of out the door pricing you guys have paid and I should expect to pay for my first new bike in years. I’m located in the South east, as I’m sure that is to be taken into account, however I’d love to hear from anyone that has the bike I want and what you paid.

When I bought my 24 yz450 brand new in 2023 I couldn’t get anyone lower than 13k until I got 2 local dealers to keep beating the others offer and I got it for 10k OTD
The OP is asking about a 2026 350 xcf, not a 24 yz450.
I got mine right when the 24’s came out for $9,800 OTD at power Motorsports in sublimity Oregon and had it shipped to my house fully assembled in Utah for $500… you got ripped off
How lol. I got mine right when they came out also for 300 less than you….mine was 35 minutes down the road fully built
The Shop

I know my main point was to get 2 dealers to go back and forth
I was shopping for a 350 in March/April of 2025. There was a 2024.5 350 XCF Factory Edition available at that time, and I was quoted just over $13k OTD (included NJ sales tax 6.625%).
I passed on it and picked up a 2024 FX 350 for $10k OTD (out of state, no tax) instead. I was able to add an XPR vortex, have my suspension resprung/revalved, and add some other goodies for less the what I would have spent on the FE.
Good luck with the search — the church of 350 welcomes you with arms wide open. They’re great bikes
Oh I thought you said you paid 13k and i can assure you, you didn’t get it for $300 less. I got the cheapest price in the country
Call Chip at Munn Racing in Waco Texas.
Buddy I bought mine December 2023 for 10k cash otd lol. U paid 10,300. It’s simple math. Also chip munn in Waco is becoming way to local for me
Check with your dealer, but I keep hearing that 2027 KTM group bikes have a 1 year factory warranty now. If that is true for the 350 XCF I would take that into consideration.
First step is to call and email every dealer in the USA. Tell them you have "Cash Money" (it's OK if that's a lie). When they try to do normal conversational stuff, like asking your name and where you live, tell them "Out the door price now, don't try to play games."
If you call and email 8000 dealers, you'll get calls back from probably 2000.
Keep a list of the dealers that called you back because dirtbikes usually have only around $200 profit margin. If they are calling you back about a dirtbike instead of focusing on their SXS and Touring customers, then they plan to rip you off, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Now that you've narrowed your list to the 6000 dealers that didn't respond, you can start playing games.
First don't tell them you want a 350, you need to get them off balance by picking a different bike. Doesn't matter which one, start with a KTM street bike or something. Get them to write up the OTD price before you show up. If they do it, then don't go there, they are trying to bait and switch you. You must only go to the dealers that stop responding OR refuse to write up an OTD price for anonymous phone callers.
Now you're finally ready to start visiting dealers in person. Make sure to bring your Quarterback with you. This person you must treat as an expert regardless of how uninformed they are. Actually it's better if they are super uninformed but also arrogant, but you need to make sure not to laugh at them or the whole strategy is undermined.
Anyway, have the quarterback rehearse stories about winning some non specific "AMA" race 10-20-or 30 years ago....... That'll help later in the process............... but back to the first visit, it's crucially important to visit the same shop multiple times and never buy anything. They actually keep a scorecard under the parts counter and every minute you are in the store but not buying anything is $1 off a bike when you finally buy. It's kind of like credit card points, the more you visit and not buy anything, the more you earn. If you can get like 10k minutes, then the bike will be free.
I could have gone and picked it up or had my friend in NorCal get it but I like motoshippers and I’ve used them before. I paid $9,800 not $10,300. That was my choice lol
Ok so in the end u paid 300 more than me lol. Stop making it complicated bud. I got it cheaper than you and I’m sure you been telling people for years you got the Cheapest one in the country….until yesterday.
too many moving parts there for me 😆 what is your time worth?
I suspect that you work in or have worked in a dealership. 😉 I would also bet that the people who are giving you downvotes don't have their sarcasm detectors turned on.
OP, your chosen model is rare to begin with, and since we are late in the 2026 model year, there may not be a lot of dealers who can compete for your business. (The FE model might be close to sold out.) Hopefully there are at least two that are nearby, which you can pit against one another. Don't push too hard on this though; give the dealer a break and let him earn a couple of bucks. I would suggest telling each dealer that you are shopping at the other, but don't divulge what they quoted you. It's OK to tell the higher-priced dealer what the lower-priced one quoted you. If they are willing to beat it, it's your call to buy there or try one last time at the other dealer. Don't go back and forth to try and save $50 or $100; that's not cool.
Also, here are some other angles most people don't consider:
-A cash deal is almost always less profitable for the dealer. Don't think you are making it more desirable for him by buying with cash.
-A great OTD price is just the beginning. If you are financing and you have a huge interest rate, that's not as good in the long run compared to a slightly higher purchase price and a lower interest rate. A large down payment helps in either scenario.
-Make sure the dealer is staffed by people who know a thing or two - you can avoid title problems, warranty registration headaches and the like this way. Also, courtesy and friendliness go a long way. Would you go riding with these dudes?
-As a contrary to the above, you do not need to get your bike serviced at the same place you bought it. Warranty claims from the manufacturer work at any authorized dealer. Don't let that particular consideration sway your choice too much.
Did you not read? I shipped it by choice… I wanted it asap. I could have waited 3 more days for my friend from NorCal to come down. Lots of people buy from David Sibley in sublimity. Keefer pushed his dealership for years. Cheapest prices in the country. Now I get to ride all my Yamahas on my 160 acre facility with 3 tracks 😏
And I still got mine cheaper
Your Prius probably gets 40mpg with the trailer, how much was gas back then?
That's got to be atleast $200 in gas, round trip.
Pit Row
are you guys done with your pissing contest yet? or does somebody still got dribbles they can't shake off?
Yawn 🥱
Looks like you were past due for a newer dirt bike so I’m glad to hear you bought a 24 for 10,300!
Who cares about OTD (out the door), what really matters is DTR (down the road).
That was in October of 23 when I bought it 😭 I haven’t needed a newer bike. I’m happy with the 24’. I have, as you can see a dozen different bikes to ride so my YZ450 doesn’t get many hours. I could go buy 5+ brand new ones cash if I wanted too. You got offended by a misunderstanding. Like I said I thought you said you had paid $13K for one. You made this into a pissing match? Where’s your 160 acre facility with 3 tracks and I’m not even gonna say how much in equipment, solar and my whole security/alarm system. I’m opening my track for FREE to the public because I don’t care about making a profit I just wanna serve the community and make moto more affordable. Respond back when you have a property like mine that I’ve put my heart and soul into 👍🏻
sounds like you at least appreciate daddy giving you 160 acres ❤️
How long have you been off of quads and into bikes?
I'll just leave this right here...
A friend of mine got his ‘24 YZ450 in late 2023 for $9400 out the door…..
Guantlet thrown... 🍿
I just hate it that both those guys got ripped off so badly!
