You clearly don't pay attention to social media then (no judgement, good on you tbh). Deegan has posted multiple things directly related to Jett just this year alone, specifically making fun of him and/or antagonizing him. This goes all the way back to his battle with Hunter during outdoors in 2023, where he was bringing the American flag on the podium and getting into yelling matches with the Lawrences near the podium. He's been doing this to them for years already, and Jett has acknowledged and accepted that it's coming (listen to his most recent interview on Gypsy).

Yes I do, for the most part..But specifically what has he said - like give me an actual quote where he says he is going to beat “ insert name” in the 450 class?

I see a lot of him putting in work ..

Nobody has brought him up yet, probably because he won’t be fighting for wins, but I think RJ has the most pressure right now. Dude is going to be riding for a job next year and he doesn’t have any recent Supercross success to point to. He is going to need to turn some heads this summer.

Kitchen. It's now or never time for him. The younger guys are going to run away from him in SX next year. If he wants to ever win a title he better do it this summer.

If Prado is ripping on the KTM and Chase struggles on the Kawi, that will be the nail in the coffin for me that the Kawi bike or program is a complete disaster..

Brian is not stupid enough to directly state it, but as an earlier poster said, everything Donger posts is a way of saying he is the legitimate rival to Jett. He does this through his constant comments, and antagonising actions.

Unfortunately for Donger, Jett doesn't really rate him.

The best example of this - and of how Donger really feels deep down - was at the presser for the MX champs last year. Donger was at the table by himself banging on about 'who wants to sit next to the king' when Jett came along sat down and put his phone firmly on the table. Donger shrank into himself and stopped talking. It was like watching a small dog submit to the big dog.

Agree they've all got a decent excuse to trot out if necessary..

Really good comment.  Interesting.

38 100% he talks himself up, and his family, and his fans ... that's quite a lot of pressure on young shoulders

Jett…for the first time in his career he has someone younger and more accomplished in 250s moving into the class

Win percentages tell another story, like I have said anything less than 22/0 is a failure if he ever wants to compare himself to Jett

If you ask who is most stressed, I think it's kawi. Not Chase. Maybe thats equal to pressure. But again, I think everyone is expecting a continued so so performance.

Prado isn't probably stressed, because he knows he is In a good place. If it's enough to win it's something else.

All Prado needs to do is be better than he was last year. Does anyone honestly think he won’t be better than last year?

I think Deegan has the most pressure.

Jett gets a free-pass for Pala because nobody knows how the injury recovery has gone.

This is funny. when a win record gets beat we have to shift to win percentage , then switch to laps led, or most pole positions, or who’s chick is hotter.

I think Jet puts pressure on himself. Like all great riders they want to win and second place doesn’t cut it.
That said: no one, including Jet, doesn’t accept the fact that he is far from 100% healed. Nor 100% “current”/race fit. So that has to relieve some pressure. If he rides well and gets a 3rd and a 5th - who can blame or be surprised?
I think he might go 1,1.

If Deegan gets a 3rd and 5th:- after the 250 season he’s had, and the solid wall of self love noise he’s been making: I think the meltdown will begin.

I wouldn’t be surprised that if Hayden doesn’t dominate, or gets hurt (450s have bigger mouths and bite harder) he quits after a year or two. Changes to cars/backflips/internet sensation/spoilt punk
I think he might go 5, dnf.

That’s an absolute bullshit argument Jett’s winning percentage gets helped by the season he got hurt and missed races, something 38 never did.

Also I think all of us Mulisha fans would be just fine with beating the guy who went 22-0 (against the most depleted field in 450 history). No need to go perfect just take down the guy that everyone has already appointed as the best of this generation proving them all wrong.

Definitely Sexton. If he fails to qualify top 5 and misses the podium, the panic button thread will live again!

Its Sexton + his team by far. The Team even more so, they more or less have to deliver now.

Deegan? Give me a break, kid has literally nothing to lose and zero pressure, if he is right up there its huge and impressive (I wouldnt be sursprised tho) and if he finishes outside of the podium thats more than okay for his first race on a 450 lol

I think if I stayed off this website I would become much more of a Jett fan. Some folks here make it hard to like the guy, not his fault though.

So if Jett doesn’t go 24-0 for a second time we can’t ever compare him to RC? Or if he doesn’t win 13 SX races in a row we can’t compare him to MC?

Sexton. He needs to not freak out about the bike (he will) and just let things come more naturally. His best rides of the SX season were when he admitted he stopped thinking about the bike and just rode around it. Does that mean his true top-end potential might be limited? Probably. But when he puts his head down, he seems to manage really solid results, regardless of the bike. I think a lot of people would be impressed with him if he was easily within the top 5, got an OA podium, and found a way to be a consistent podium guy/win a couple motos this year. And the thing is, those are objectively low expectations for a guy of Sexton's caliber. But he's been getting in his own way so much lately (I do think the team/bike are also partially to blame, but Chase doesn't make things any easier on himself).

Kawasaki.

I would agree to this….both Dan and Bruce from what I hear are on the proverbial hot seat…
