Did RC ever run the 1 outside of the 125?

What about LaRocco? I mean, I know he's not active but since we seem to have strayed into long running numbers past or present . . .

I’d say Deegan will have the number 1 for the rest of his career.

Alessi?

At least 14 for Windham (2000-2013)

Only 9 for Tedesco (06-14).

Brown came back from the GPs and ran 100 in his 2001 title year, ran the #1 plate in 2002, and then 3 until Eli got it.  I think that was the era when permanent numbers came into being, and before then it was prior season ranking except for the champ in the class.

He retired in 06, pretty early it the permanent number era.  I believe after that 5 was unclaimed (like 8 is now) until Dunge picked it.

He still has some work to do to catch up to Reed's record of 18 years (2003-2020).

What have Cairoli and Herlings done? I’d think maybe they’re up there too

Good call on Cairoli, he had the 222 since at least 2003. I'm pretty sure he ran the #1 for a season or two during his MX2 days though, definitely had the #1 in 2006.

Herlings had the 84 from 2011 on, he still had the number 111 in 2010.

Safe to say Herlings is at the highest level still from the 2011 guys.

Not to hijack the thread, but was he injured all year or something? He was a complete non-factor in SX. I genuinely forgot he was even in the series until I saw him congratulating KR94 after the final round.

People keep saying the series are “better with him in it,” but based on that performance… how exactly?

Cause he’s Kyle Fucking Chisholm !

LOL. I retired last year from full time racing. Might be why I was a “non-factor in SX” haha. I raced the last 3 races just for fun since I’ve been riding a bunch testing for Kawasaki. Wild how people can have such a strong opinion on something yet be SO uninformed. But yeah…

Here's what I've got in my db in terms of numbers for consecutive years showing up to the races.

Not to change the subject, but I always wondered what he accomplished to earn the number 11?

He remembered to not leave his iPod at the Stewart Compound, unlike Kyle Reagal, for one.

What's the story here?
