Facts are Cole was checking out before the red flag. On the restart he felt bad for Deegs so let him start in front of him. Deegs didn’t have the pace so Cole had to pass him. Then Deegs declares he had no idea how long the race was even though he’s been racing the series three years longer than his rookie teammate, guess Cole was just lucky he won.
Pretty much. I don't defend Deegan to get a rise out of people. That's just absurd.
This pretty much sums it up. I would only dispute that Haiden would have passed Cole given 5 more minutes. He might have, but Cole was moving and perhaps backed it down the last couple of laps.
What I do find funny is all the prophets at this place who, after 2 race wins, have declared Cole the next generational talent who is better at sx than Deegan (yet somehow behind in points), and is what Deegan was supposed to be.
He's talented for sure, and possibly generational, but only time will tell. He's not the only rookie to win sx races in his first season, and he won't be the last. One thing is for sure though, Deegan Derangemen Syndrome is for real, and a bunch of members here have it.

I agree, but the larger point is what the fuck are the teams doing? Media engagement is part of these rider's contracts, hence it's part of their job to act in a professional manner. This is speculation, but I feel that Haiden is in a bit of a bind in this regard. Presumably his contract has stipulations around media professionalism etc but The Princess is all about outrage generation and the resulting clicks. This kind of behaviour is just what The Princess has always advocated for - provided it gets clicks. Remember he's the turd that used to cruise around with his Metal Morons pretending they were members of MS13.
Lots of races would have different results with an infinite amount of time on the clock. In the standard time they complete a 250 main event, Deegan finished 2nd. Now that's a fact. What a pointless observation to make.
