McGrath has said he knew the nights he could win and the nights he couldn't....that's why he has seven SX championships and 72 wins.
Just read through the thread, the dude that started it has been civil and not 'hatin'. I'm sure McGrath, Reed or Bubba would have caught plenty of slack if they were lapped too.
Pit Row
But one year he clinched the 250 crown a round early and didn't show up for the last race.
Give Dungey a break; it's been two sketchy tracks and he has the next job right up starting May 22.
What has he got to gain from hanging it out on a sketchy track? If I'm RD, I'm over SX and totally focused on my national program right now.
To me, it's like when NFL teams who wrap up their Division early and decide to bench their starters for the last 2 or 3 games. When the Playoffs start, they are rusty and usually lose because they are out of sink and not clicking on all cylinders.
When you just show up at a race for the sake of showing up for a few rounds, you can't just turn it back on when the gate drops when you WANT to be serious. I think this is why RC was always so dominant. He never turned it off. He was smart when he needed to be, but he never went in to a race EXPECTING to lose.
That is my only point in all if this...
Really?
"4th 5 Ryan M Dungey- Stupidest Vitalmx.com thread ever (and that’s really saying something) is asking why Dungey is “coasting.”"
