BUD Racing Kawasaki (Musquin, Paulin and DV's ex-team) is looking for a fast young american rider to finish the GP series for them, probably on Aubin's bike.

Any idea who could apply?

I thought Decotis, who else?

I don't think Nicoletti has an outdoor ride yet.

Not sure he'd tackle GPs, but he's a good kid and deserves something more than privateering it for the summer.

We need a 15 yr old over there. Seems like that's the age to be.

Jason Anderson would be a good pick for that.

We told Bud Racing about Nicoletti, and we also contacted PJ Larsen down in Australia, but he has a good ride with KTM. PJ (and Ping) said for them to call Jimmy DeCotis.

Not even sure they won't keep him on the 250, and would just look to ad a rider. The only info is that they look for a young fast american. It's from a Racerx twitt, I should have mentionned it.

That's a good question. The guy has gone from a GP win and title contender to a guy that barely scores points and seldom even finishes motos. For me Aubin is one of the bigger mysteries on the GP circuit. If you asked me for my guess I'd say Aubin has been hanging out with JLaws old friends because his fall off has been very on par to JLaws fall off.

I think Aubin, got injured at the weekend in the GP.

I have been kind of wondering that myself what has been going wrong with him. I really liked to watch him race but he just seems like he has went off the boil.

From what I know of Amateur racing, Jason Anderson is in a good position to stay on the path he's on now. Why risk falling off the radar, when his focus should really be on the US market. He's the next big thing here. Don't get distracted.

Yep, but as far as I know, he's dialed with MotoConcepts.

If this Jason Anderson guy is already on the top of the amateur world, one year in the GP, even if he has poor results, won't make him fall off the radar. He'll have a bunch of excuses coming back home next year

But I would send a kid overseas only if he's tough, mentally and phisically.

The picture could be worse though; it's not like he'll live in drainy belgium; nope, BUD Racing is located in Hossegor south west of france, close to the best Surfing spots we have, a pretty cool area.

I spent many summer holidays at Hossegor and the nearby beaches in the 90's. South West France is a fantastic place.

Heard he's definitely considering this if he can't get an mx deal here in the US.

Aubin is not injured.
Mentally ok as well? His erratic performance during the last two years despite championship winning level of talent always made me think the kid isn't really dialed to this?

Pure speculation of course...
