Agreed.
The EMX250 European Championship age rule changed to a maximum age of 21 in 2022.
Was the second change to the age restriction in the last four years after it was amended in 2019 only to accept riders under 23.
What’s your point? Jett raced EMX before 2019 and the original 23 year old age limit the guy I was responding to was referencing wasn’t a rule yet at that time.
It would need to be poster to YouTube or the like and I for one would love to see it….

Similar to Justin Bieber in so many ways. ESPN’s title brilliant.
I made the mistake of reading the comments here before reading the article, so I agreed about the cringey title.
However as soon as I started reading, I didn’t think the title mattered, and by the time I’d finished I’d forgotten about it completely.
It’s a pity there’s not more of these types of articles out there.
I was surprised by the amount of info in that article that I didn't know.
One thing that jumped out is Dazzy having input on bike development.
Dude, this write up is amazing. Maybe its a product of ESPN being as huge as it is or maybe it's just a different person asking questions our media normally wouldn't but it's actually very informative and something we'd never get from any of our moto outlets.
I came across this multiple times on google news and saw the headline and was like pfffft lol wtf is this theres not gonna be anything good in there. I guess Ill go back and check it out, sounds like its a good article.
Jett shared this on his Insta... i looked at the title and backed out of it. But thanks to the comments here I read it. Great article. The headline is definitely off putting unfortunately.
That's because she's a real journalist.
Yep, makes you realise the difference between people that just report news and actual journalists.
Is surprising to hear Lars say their dad has input in engine and chassis development of the bikes ect on the team.. And hear the crazy amount of $ he rakes in on merch drops ect. I learned a lot about them that I haven't heard about in the previous 4 or 5 years they've been in states. I guess it's true that all moto journalists are really just moto bro's and don't want rock the boat and be mates with everyone. Cause that was a great write up and insight into their lives.
Funny thing is there’s really no reason that one of the prominent moto “journalists” couldn’t have written a similar article.
Having said that, methinks this was intentionally done through a mainstream media outlet to start building exposure outside of the moto landscape.
The Lawrence family are legends. I know them from the Kawasaki time in Den Dungen, they lived 15km from my house.
I knew they sold everything, but didn’t know they were on such a budget. I was over to have dinner there and they never mentioned the hard times they had. They had a Goal! They were and still are superb people. I’m so happy for them to succeed, they gave it all. I love seeing them take over the scene, especially when Hunter took the sx250 title, I teared up.. they are legends !
Accurate as it gets…he’s a pretty boy plays fortnite probably does tik tok dances, into himself and the fashion. That screams Bieber to me.
wonder how his Fortnite deal is going I just saw they lost a law suit, Fortnite kids really into moto these days growing the sport? 🥴
You guys do realise Bieber is core moto right? He helped develop the new Triumph.
Makes a difference when you have an education for the thing you're doing for a living.
Good article.
Pit Row
Actual guys. That title is pretty solid if you ask me. Dudes flamboyant and that’s ok, is what it is.
Spot on!
Most mainstream articles focus on the "death defying stunts and jumps." This article she focused on not just the athlete's story but on his creativity and talent. Outstanding job by the author.
People still watch/read ESPN....I thought they were going under.
Mainstream exposure, will only bring mainstream poison. Look at what's happened to all other pro sports.
Keep us niche....
Boots and bike from levers to total leg feel, etc. He reminds me it goes back to our basics schools.
You can rest easy. This is about Jett Lawrence mainstream exposure not motocross mainstream exposure.
Which is a ok. Would you do it different if you were in his boots? Make hay while the sun shines.
ESPN has created a Great article telling the story of a beginning and struggles along the way to becoming an inspirational champion.
No there’s nothing wrong with it at all. It’s where he needs to be in order to grow his brand.
Serious question, how many moto media members have a journalism degree? Any?
Education matters, no matter how much this sport refuses to admit it.
