New to vital so go ahead and rub it in. Yesterday I responded to my first thread and every reply after mine came to me as an email. I have gone to my manage notifications box and tried different settings but the emails keep coming. Yes I am old and computer challenged but this wearing me out.

Click the gear icon at the top of the page
Under Settings, click Manage Notifications
Check/Uncheck what you want to receive. There's 2 columns. Notification that show up on the site and there's notification by email.
Also, go to the very bottom of the page in Manage Notifications and you'll see Manage Subscriptions. You might have accidentally clicked "Get notified about new comments" that appears at the bottom of every thread topic. If there's any thread titles listed there, uncheck the boxes and you should stop receiving notifications.
