De Wolf has lije 4 years left in Mx2, and should have a good contract.

I think it would be a better move for his teammate (and also Dutch) Roan vd Moosdijk to look at the US 250s in the near future.
I think if he goes mxgp in 24 he ismore likely to end up like beaton or Jacobi (so without a ride) then like Jonass or Seewer.

Go US in 24, dont do SX in 24 but do spend all ofseason trainin on it and sign a mx only deal for 24 (wait anddo a fill in deal at worst).

Unsure if there will be MXGP in 24 - they are struggling - no Husky MXGP team, is the beginning of the end

Imo title fight next year will be between Van De Moosdijk and Geerts

You’re absolutely out of your mind if you think MXGP won’t exist after next season

It’s make or break imo - yes they’ll push on, but with what quality is to be seen. The electric revolution is coming to remember? Fast!

Yeah that's insane. MXGP is going to be around in 2024, way to much money to be made by infront (and to much invested in it as well after buying it).

What electric bikes will do for MX nobody knows, but that will take years and if it kills MXGP then it will kill all series.

vd Moosdijk will be 23 next season adn has never won a GP and only 1 moto. I would be very surprised if he can fight for the title against a healthy Geerts

KTM only having Herlings on the 450, and no Husky Team isn’t ideal for 2023. They’re the biggest manufacturer in Europe and they’re investment is low. Infront are the same team from youthstream etc who close up shop, and change name to launder €.

I’ve been around MX since 1988, so only want the best for the sport.

I know it sounds stupid on paper but I was really impressed with his speed and consistency after coming back from injury. I think Geerts is far and away the best rider in the class but if I had to guess who's gonna be closest to him I'd say Van De Moosdijk.

Yeah all contenders need to step up their game if they want to challenge Geerts.

Adamo could be a contender now he’s on the factory KTM.

Husky will have riders in MXGP in 2023.

I see your logic but as mxxxeR1 says, I think his biggest challenge will be Benistant. Vd moosdijk is an excellent rider but he has had some really shitty injuries at exactly the wrong moments of his career. As a Dutch fan I hope he proves me wrong though!

Holy feck-a-doodle-doo!!!

MXoN in late october? Do you want no team USA, cuz that's how you get no team USA...

Flyaway in Indonesia and after 3 months another flyaway to Vietnam? Why? Why not merge?

Logistically - Indo to Vietnam is a nightmare

teams generally can't afford to be away 20 days in a row, so 2 overseas in a row is enough, plus you'll need way too many bikes/parts to do 3 races in a row, so that definitely isn't the right move to link Vietnam to Indonesia

and when you line up the MXGP schedule with the new US schedule, you'll see that this is the week after the last SMX event, so their shouldn't be any excuses not to do it. If they did it any earlier, you'd have people complaining about riders potentially missing out on that new $10m purse if they got injured at the MXON, which is a way worse scenario

Got to say I’m not looking forward to next season. Most fans support their country’s riders and if the gates are low then are that many fans really interested? What does attract fans is good racing and in my opinion most of the tracks on the calendar do not provide this apart from 1 or 2 stand out tracks. It’s an absolute snooze fest most weeks with 1 line racing

Looks like Honda will have a strong presence in MXGP next year according to gatedrop with signing Standing Construct & JM. That would give them in MXGP:

HRC - Gajser
HRC - Fernandez
SC - Jonass
SC - Bogers
JM - van Doninck
JM - Beaton

And McLellan in MX2

As far as I know JM Honda will have 1 MXGP rider and McLellan as their MX2 rider.

Yes you’re right, I think that is the loosest of the three. Sardinia and Switzerland sound like they’re happening
