Is there any difference between MavTV Plus and On Demand? They both look to be $6.99 each. I'd like to be able to watch qualifying and the races at any time I want.

What they are meaning is you can watch the show Live or later On Demand.

It’s all built into the app.
It's weird how they have it shown on their website...like it's two different options.

Just signed up for the app. Seems to work pretty well on my iphone. There’s a lot of past stuff on there: MX, MXGP, Endurocross, Superenduro, flat track, and a bunch of car and truck racing.

Honestly pretty cool having all that in one spot. If they do a decent job with MX this year (read: no commercials during the race), I’d consider this an upgrade.

Anyone know who the announcers are for the series yet? We get MAVTV on Directv so we'll just record the races and fast forward through any commercials.

Weege, JT pit reporting, and a rotating number of color commentators including RC, RV, Bailey, James, and more I currently can't remember.

Well, that sounds like it seals the deal. Very disappointed in this development. No way I'm paying for a downgrade when we've had uninterrupted races for more than a decade.

Sounds like it may be a PIP deal, which I guess is better than nothing. Still a bummer, hopefully it’s not too intrusive.

I’m cool with a Pip.. if it’s done like F1 and IndyCar.. there pips work well for me.

What did you watch that was commercial-free before the Peacock app?

So i bit the bullet and bought MavTV Plus this week (99$ annually or 7$ a month).

The pros:

- It has a shit-ton of racing all things motorsports that i didn't even know were recording or raced.
- If you have a smart TV (Roku, apple, etc) the app is easy to install and login into
- Outdoor nationals are streamable years 2014/15/16/17/18/19..... But no 20 or 21

The Cons:

- It's expensive, especially for fractured (fractured meaning not all available) content.
- Seems like they only get rights to stuff that is old, Like i wanted to check out the arenacross series from 2022. but they only have 3 rounds of the 2021 series wtf.
- It appears some of the access they had before has been neutered
- MXGP has the 16/17/18/19/20 series but not all of the rounds.
==================================

With the little bit i typed up i hope DC can get a cheaper Motocross only option for fans.

Going forward, I do not know how to solve this issue but the people who own rights need to make a racing version of Netflix because the market, is getting super super fractured.

2022 arenacross is going on: rydetv.com = 60$ - Annual cost, Per Round is cheaper
2022 mxgp series is: mxgp-tv.com = 135$ American - Annual Cost, Per Round is cheaper
2022 national mx is: Mavtvplus.com = 99$ - Annual Cost, Per Month is cheaper
2022 Sx series is: peacocktv.com = 10$ - Monthly
2022 Gncc series is: racertv.com = free and on youtube.
2022 endurcross = schedule not out yet
2022 British motocross championship = 1 round, no tv or streaming listed
2022 super enduro is: superenduro.tv = 40.00$ - Annual Cost, Per Round is cheaper
Great feedback. I purchased it a few days ago. How or where is it on Apple TV? I cannot find it.

I just signed up….crossing my fingers there are no commercials during the moto’s or at the least it is PIP. I am concerned if it will be 1080p @60fps….for gods sake please be 60fps!!!

I've got a Samsung TV and in Australia they have something called "Samsung TV Plus" which has a bunch of random channels that are just free if you have your TV connected to the internet. It looks like MavTV is one of the channels (channel 1660).

From what I can see it looks like the same goes for Samsung US - TV Plus
https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/tvplus/all-chan…
You’re right it looks like for the US.

But for those in Australia it looks like MavTV motor sports which I believe is the main channel, no? https://www.samsung.com/au/tvs/smart-tv/samsung-tv-plus/all-channels/

Here is some more information. There are now two episodes of the PulpMX show on the app. What they consist of is condensed versions of the live show.
If you don’t have time to watch or listen to the entire Pulp show this might be a good way to get the highlights.

Also they are showing practice at 1pm eastern time for Pala and the race at 4.

Has anyone downloaded the MavTvPlus for IOS? The reviews are horrible on the app store Sad

More specifically, looking for feedback on streaming the IOS app to Chromecast. I have been streaming Peacock and nbcSports app to Chromecast with very little issues for years.

Thinking I may have to pony up for a Roku and pay for MavTvPlus to watch the Nationals this year .... Unsure

I have the app for IOS and it works fine. Of course I haven’t used it a lot.

I’ve not tried it with Chromecast.

From a fellow Albertan, oh shit. I thought we were supposed to be past this vpn crap. It better not be blocked, because I can’t get Mav TV on cable. Telus has something called Rev TV and I haven’t seen if AMA MX has been picked up yet.

It looks like it may be available to Canadians through Roku. I know this press release is from a year ago and mentions the free “select” version but perhaps MAVTV PLUS is also available on the Canadian Roku?

The app is available everywhere that any other app is offered. If you have a smart TV, go to the app section and download MAVTV Plus. If you don't have a smart TV, get a device like Roku and download the app there. Or if you have cable, watch MAVTV there.

Still no mention of the motos being uninterrupted in todays broadcast schedule press release. I did just notice that it looks like I’ll have to continue my peacock subscription for two more months just to watch a couple of motos since they’re on NBC. Or just watch them on delay, I suppose. 👎

Just because it’s on nbc there is no guarantee it will be on peacock.
