Ferrandis, Musquin, should have an advantage. Tomac has had a good mud race, but remember the mudder Loretta's national last season. He went down at least once before the overheating issue.
I love mudders, Daytona yrs ago was too muddy, and too much rain kind of like Millville national the year Ricky lapped the entire field. But there was a mudder yrs ago in Seattle that turned out to be one of the best races of the season.

Roczens state of mind, weather conditions / mud skills,
Your lucky socks, all add up to nothing compared to Webb’s determination.

Peak chance looks to be around mid day. Decreasing after that. What time are they racing? Qualifying schedule will likely be altered I think
This is a mid day race.

After LL's last year, I'd say Osborne... But that's not going to happen, so I'm going with Barcia and Tomac.

Great looking track. Too bad about the rain. With a new venue, who knows how the layout will handle water.

Weather shows it clearing up by 5pm. Should be a good track.

Will they even be able to turn the slop around in time for a dry Tuesday race or are we going to get two mudders for the price of one?

Noooo, that's just how it goes. If you're willing to delay races so you can have the best event, then you gotta delay for injuries as well. Best to let the contest be about everything, instead of picking and choosing, because winning the championship is about a lot more than being fast. Gotta be consistent and be able to handle track variations and when you're not feeling well and when your bike breaks...it's about all of it. Let it rain.

Since we’re at a NASCAR track why can’t we just postpone it until the rain quits? Cool
Everyone hates on nascar and the rain issue. There’s no possible tire tread that can disperse the water with the speeds they reach.

Not arguing, just saying.... It's the track configuration that is limiting.

F1 rains....
The full wet tyres are the most effective solution for heavy rain. These tyres can evacuate 85 litres of water per second per tyre at 300kph. There's a new profile designed to increase resistance to aquaplaning, which will give the tyre more grip in heavy rain.

Yea, that’s great at 186mph for a short straight they’re carrying speed of <180 through the turns, let alone the straights. I enjoy F1 far more than nascar but it’s not comparable. I appreciate that info though, pretty cool hear what these companies can do.

Practice will most likely get cancelled and they'll go straight into a postponed qualifying session.

I don't think the race itself will be postponed due to the broadcast schedule being set to go live for 3pm. This race is also airing on regular NBC as well, so that's kind of a big deal.

IMO, SX mud races suck.

Plessinger has been gaining momentum for a few rounds now and is undeniably good in the mud.

If it's gonna be a mudder I'd love to see the man from Ohio on top the box.

*That said, I generally hate mudders in SX and really hope we have a good race track for what looks to be an epic layout.

That's a bummer, hoping for the best tomorrow! Mud races just aren't very fun to watch IMO. Everyone is just rolling around trying to survive rather than trying to race each other.

Hoping for the best, but with a load of Georgia clay, heavy rain and a jumpy track this could look worse than Seattle 2018.

If you are playing Pulp fantasy, remember factory teams are your friends for mud races especially in 250.

Agreed. Seeing the world's best paddling their way around an SX track isn't exactly exciting to watch.

Agree! Would be cool to postpone it and they can air croquet in its place and maybe for once SX can bump a curling event once the weather clears and the track is “raceable”

We are still talking about a guy with three podium finishes this season, right?

GODZIL.. ZOBITO just never liked him for some reason.

I'm starting to think they're the same age and that he was into Mathilde, but loss that battle a long time ago. That or he got lapped in every race back when they were on minis. Grinning

Or maybe he doesn't like that his interviews go on for an hour. Grinning

Aucune idée!

Edit: I know, Marv stole your beloved cat, lol.
