I just don't understand his motive with Hepler. Why him? Someone needs to put this kid in a wheelchair before he does it to someone else. Give him the New Jersey "Code" he wants to dish out.

Wow...are you assuming that everyone who has ever ended up in a wheelchair deserved it somehow? Not cool....not cool at all.
Well, rereading my comment it does appear as if I was insensitive and I will apologize for the comment. Being that I broke my back in 88' I know the torment and pain and suffering associated with a spinal injury, and know that for others it's a life time if suffering. For that I'm sorry

In another thought, I also understand that there are people who don't care if this happens to people like me after it occurs. Actually gloat about it later, like I was nothing.

And they return to injure others without ever feeling remorse.

But for my comments I'm sorry

How dare you say that about anyone.
Do you have any idea how many people in wheelchairs are on this forum??
Many of these people are my friends, and they're stuck in wheelchairs for life.
Did you realize that being paralyzed is a shit load more than not being able to walk?

That was absolutely one of THE MOST DISGUSTING COMMENTS YOU COULD POSSIBLY MAKE ABOUT ANYONE, much less a racer. (I would say "fellow racer," but you're obviously not a racer because no racer who dare say that about another racer)

You disgust me and owe everyone including those on here who are paralyzed an apology.

You piece of shit
i agree dave....worse than saying cuss words imho

It is the issue that I have with the "Down with JLaw" crowd. They come on here claiming to be everything is good and self-righteous while trying to list every reason no matter how valid it is that JLaw is the devil. It is this constant witch hunt and in the process of trying to put him down, they ironically ruin their white knight image in the the process.
what the fuck? are you his nanny? wait a sec...when you wear sun glasses, does one side keep falling down off the side of yer head?

Apparently, you are unaware that the term "which hunt" is used to mean persecuting those who have done nothing wrong with fictional charges. The charges agains Lawrence are rock solid and he adds to them on a regular and frequent basis. To say that the people here are waging a "constant witch hunt" agains Lawrence is like saying marine biologists are conducting a "witch hunt" against sharks for eating seals-because sharks don't eat seals. I have never heard you say a word about his law breaking and other antics and it is PATHETIC.

In another thought, I'm srn to racing to sorry. I also understand that there are people who don't care if this happens to people like me after it occurs. Actually gloat about it later, like I was nothing.

During the crash, I broke my lower vertebrae when a rider slammed me. I underwent a lumbar spinal fusion, which the swelling many times causes paralysis temporarily. It took the better part of a year before I was able to function as a normal kid. At the beginning, the numb hip, legs and waist was overwhelming. The worst part was the kid who hit me bragged about what had happened to other riders and used it as intimidation. Months later an official claimed that it was deliberate.

I do realize many are not as lucky to only have temporary paralysis. It is dehumanizing and I must be insane or really believe this is the best sport and lifestyle ever because I let my son get involved in this.

Just think to yourself, how would you feel if someone wished your son into a wheel chair? Think about that.

Wishing someone in a chair for the rest of their life is low, and totally uncalled for.
