In all fairness to Webb... There haven’t been too many riders at that level that have done well on the Yamaha 450. As much as I don’t like Webb, I think he would be much better on another brand. Kawi would probably be a descent fit for him bike-wise and the two biggest whiners could be consolidated to one team. Honda would be a good fit if he wasn’t for his attitude and beef with KRoc. I’m not sure when these kids are going to realize that their attitudes on and off the track will effect contract offers. There is plenty of talent out there without all the drama.

I think his offers will be limited due to his lack of results and poor attitude in the end. He’ll be lucky to be on one of the main factory teams due to those issues.



Webb a Douche turns DeCoster off?
Well lets look at it this way. Roj hired arguably one of the nicest hard working guys in the pits and look where that has gotten him at the moment.

Or they could sign Savatgy to a 2 year deal and drop Eli after 2019 to add AC if he is their heir apparent. Pretty sure Eli’s current Kawasaki deal and AC’s deal expire at the end of 2019.

Kawasaki can be ruthless with their A riders. They dropped Stewart for RV in 2009 after Stew’s 24-0, and RC and Stew didn’t overlap at Factory Kawi either in 2002. They had their heir apparent in both situations and made the move.

According to Stewart, he wasn't offered a deal at Kawasaki.

Yes the Red Bull/Monster conflict played a part. But at the end of 2008, the future looked like Stew domination for the foreseeable future. Kawasaki saw it differently.

I also feel that Webb is going to be riding for KTM next year, he'll be able to rebuild his career on arguably the best bike with the best trainer. And KTM will probably be able to get him for a good price. Plus he's still young.

I wonder if Roger regrets picking Tickle over Barcia now?

JMart is riding 250's next year for Geico again.

I also recall someone saying the Friese has a spot at MCR for as long as he wants to race. I don't think he has a big salary and he gets pretty decent results.

What about grant than.? JGR got to run 3 with Bogle Pieck and Hill. I doubt cooper Webb stays blue, prolly looking to go orange, I feel like everybody forgets how fast Webb is, he’s just been broke off.

I'd say it seems right, except of the fact that JMart is signed with GEICO through next year, so the chances of KTM buying out his contract hover somewhere around zero. Now, AMart, on the other hand...

Wasn't one of the reasons JGR went to Suzuki was the fact that Yamaha created the Factory team to put Webb in there, thereby screwing JGR of putting their home grown talent back in their semi on a Factory Yamaha

AMarts going to JGR for a 250 ride next year. TLD KTM is full which leaves AMart out of a ride. Id like to see him stay put but if Suzuki is coming out with a all new 250 next year, maybe JGR can make that bike compete with the other top 250s.
