I mean, i love 2 stroke sounds, but combining all 4 gopro sound for the entire video made it seem like i was watching Motocrossed. Wish they used the sound only from the gopro they were displaying. Couldn't really hear their individual bikes.
I don't think Villopoto or Hahn were at any disadvantage and if they were it was minimal. Weren't they both on fully prepped YZ's?
Yeah I would think they had kit suspension and a tuned engine at least but I thought the older generation geometry etc might play a factor. Anyway was a good fun to watch

Mitch(I believe) called villos 125 a "full works pro circuit 125"
Great work for DC and RacerX to pull this together for us. More trackside camera work would be awesome but I understand there are restrictions with film crew OT etc. Cool race though.
It's cool, though I would rather see maybe younger amateurs I think. A 40 some odd year old David Pingree isn't going to turn this into an actual class/event. Cool to see a few of the retired champs like RV but if I'm being honest this race does nothing for me. It's neat. But that's about it.
Very cool. I like the way they used the sound from multiple cameras. Made you feel like you were watching it live. Gotta say though, I thought RV2 had this one in the bag leading up to the race. That kid Aiden sure is a ripper.

I never heard of Aiden Tijero but now I have and I think it's more impressive he beat RV and Will Hahn at Hangtown on the day of the National than a win at a big amateur event.

That Aiden kid is really rippin. The guys behind him are retired, sure, but even retired champions can hang it out pretty damn fast for 4 laps.
On that note, how much of a disadvantage would Wil and Ryan be (if any) with the much older YZ compared to the newer bikes?

And why isn’t this Aiden kid in the 250 class yet? Too young?
