I just got an 82 RM125 with this shock on it.
I have never seen one without a resevoir and it has no place to adjust compression or rebound.

This is all there is on it and I really have no idea what that is for.

Maybe somebody took off the resevoir I don't know?

Thats the old school style fox front end sled shock before the reservoirs. About 15 years old. The fitting is where the nitrogen goes in.

They still sell those as a cheap replacement shock but now sell a similar one called Fox Zero Pros with better internals and with or without reservoirs.

Depending on the length it could be a front rear track shock also, but those usually had a different type preload adjuster(the stepped kind) so you could make the adjustments quicker.

Had AirShox in 1981 and Floats in 2002. Floats are pretty much OEM now but aint cheap. Almost a grand for 2.

Thanks PJ
Do you think I should ebay it or toss it in the trash?

I know the MX market but when it comes to sleds I am lost.

Kevin
I have ridden it twice it is not too bad on our smooth Old School (No Jumps track) but our other modern MX track has whoops/ step-ups etc and it is not good at all.
Actually quite scary.

That is why I am looking for an 83-86 RM125 rear shock to put on.
If you see anything on the web let me know.
