amazing job BT101!!!

Sad to see the season start this way ... no one's interested, no one cares.
Now they announced they wil go to Indonesia in 2017 ;;; what's wrong whith Gp's in countrys where there is a crowd and media attention. They are killing the championship.

This weekend we have important races in France and GB. Guys like Boog, Aranda, Seb Pourcel, Teillet, Kullas, Richier, Aubin, Krestinov, Nicholls, Anderson, Whatley, Desprey, Banks Browne wil race in Sommieres and Preston Docks.

And all those guys are good enough for the GPs but they/teams can't afford the races in Asia or America.

We would love to have a GP in New Zealand at Taupo, they have tried on a number of occasions to get it but lack the finance. The crowd would be amazing like the 2006 Everts International. But its all about the TV Time and money.

They've had GP's in Indonesia before, used to have some pretty good tracks out there. It's just too hot

What's the deal with Ferrandis ?

If injured that sucks big time for the championship... No one but Ferrandis can give a bit of a challenge to Herlings...

You can always rely on Ben Townley to speak his mind. What he said has needed to be said for a long time. Well done BT!

Is there a link available for a free live stream in the U.S.
L'équipe21 is a french channel that broadcast the 2nd motos (and the highlights of the first one) ; that what they did in Qatar but they may broadcast the first motos too once the championship hits europe.

For the international fans, this link is not too bad to listen it in English, I regularly watch the races on the 2 links I posted below. You just have to wait the sh... ads to run away after about 45 seconds, then it is necessary to be careful on where you click to close the pop ups. Enjoy !

For Thailand, only the second motos will be live with a recap from the first ones.

The link is this one:

http://www.lequipe21.fr/direct/

You'll need a proxy set on France.

Check this page, all the schedule is relative to YOUR computer clock so your local time.

He dropped a bomb I quite agree with.

They must improve the oversea tracks/venues yes, just for the positive note they are also building facilities, 3 in 5 years, in a country that likes mx.

Thanks, I clicked on both. McAfee antivirus totally blocked me out of the second one, which I tried first because of prior experiences with vipleague. Well, I clicked vipleague anyway, and its the same shit it's always been...multiple windows opening up in the background, with warnings from my antivirus software to avoid them. When I try to close a window I get the message asking if you're sure you want to leave the page. All bad signs from my past experiences.

"This is the best Championship in the World, and I think it deserves better"

Townley, you're a f**king Legend!

He says prior to that "we are told not to put the sport into disrepute" - well, F**king Luongo has been doing just that - bringing the sport into disrepute - for a few decades now.

Let's see if he gets into trouble with Giuseppe - Luongo's noted for his intolerance of dissent. Stefan Everts is now in a much stronger position than ever before, I hope he backs Ben up fully. I also hope other riders take heart, and start to speak out more publicly. If young Herlings decided to start to speak out (doubtful, as he knows nothing else but Luongo's way of things), and KTM chose to let him. and their other riders, do so, things could really be changed. KTM have the power to tell Luongo to go and f**k himself, and other teams might just finally spit the dummy, too.

From what Ben seemed to say, it's not so much just the track, it's it being out in the middle of effing nowhere - it doesn't even appear to be near a resort, like at least Sri (Si?) Racha was. Sri Racha was a good track, but Luongo's model of conning promotors / area / state / province / canton etc Governments into huge sanction fees, for them to be bled dry and then give the GP the 'flick', seems to work for His / Youthstreams bank accounts. Hell, other than it's bleak setting, this new track about the level of Freestone, and a few other flat area tracks in the US, and quite a few here in OZ. You don't have to have hills - hell, I've been to a lot of awesome tracks in Belgium and The Netherlands (and throughout the World), which are lucky to have 25ft in elevation change (including the jumps) but they are the most awesome things you could ever do, and see, battle done on.

I so hope Townley stays healthy this year, he does well, and he continues to lay the boot in when it's deserved. We need to find a way of being rid of Luongo / Youthstream. The prick owns the sport through to the end of 2026, if I recall correctly.

Si Racha was fine. The dirt was good, the layout was pretty good and it got a decent crowd. The tracks in Thailand the last 2 years have been shocking

You say exotic like people do not live there. There are more people in Thailand than there are all of Australia, Canada and New Zealand combined.

i agree with most of what you say

but flat tracks are completely dumb

i have been to plenty as a spectator, Belgium, Holland, etc,

standing behind other fans and maybe getting a slight glimpse of a rider going by is ZERO.

On the other hand, the French are light-years ahead of the rest of the world.....!!!!!

The smart French figured out years ago that tracks like St. Jean and Ernee are THE best in the world and are able to enjoy them every year, while countless other poor fans in flat areas just suffer.
