Sorry but this just deserves an own thread.
That's not just different pictures from the same scrub, he did that the whole race :D
He made up 2-3 bike lenghths on Ferrandis in that 2nd moto.

Congrats to Valentin! He looked great and was definitely killing it on scrub hill. Another guy I can follow this season as I get back to my roots of MX watching MXGP.

Agree! It looks so much better from the side/rear compared to the angle on the TV cameras

The 2nd photo posted is absolutely insane wtf. Guillod sure got style. He showed flashes of this before it's cool to see him get an overall. First Gasjer now Guillod, MX 2 this year is producing some new GP winners which is pretty cool Laughing

Does anyone remember the MX1 qualifying race at the 2013 MxDN in Germany? That was Guillod who was keeping Dungey honest. He hadn't even started racing MX2 at that point. The dude is talented as fuck.

EDIT: Oops. It was actually the MXGP + MX2 race. He led 3 laps!

I was going to mention the same thing ^^^^^^

You were right about the Qualifier on the saturday too though, he hung on to Dungeys back wheel for the best part of four or five laps until DeDyker pressured him into a mistake and he eventually finished 9th.

I was there and asking myself who the guy was racing up there on the 450 since everybody runs weird looking gear at the mxdn.
When I checked the entry list in my pocket I was not too much surprised tho.
Seen him killing it in the EMX250 class at a few races that season.

anyone who went to the 2010 MXoN at Thunder Valley has seen Valentin Guillod ride in person... he was part of the Swiss team all those years ago

this is from the week before Thunder Valley at a local track where he was training with the Swiss team (including Arnaud Tonus) plus the Germans with Ken Roczen

Those top picks are pretty incredible. He put in a hell of a ride yesterday. Very cool seeing him get his first win. He seemed pretty happy about it too.
