it was a joke.

you said you liked racing uphill, you referred to yourself as "one of those"

Totally agree on the wheel debate - its about as pointless, and ironically very similar to the 4-stroke / 2-stroke thing. Same with flats VS clipless; I don't think any "science experiment" will really determine anything. I dig them; 'used to hate them. Now I won't ride without 'em.

Some a-hole tied me for my one and only DH KOM yesterday. Have to go hit that again to keep my "title" and the checks from Strava to keep rolling in.
Strava send cheques? I best be setting up some segments that only I ride haha

Any of you guys have little groms who ride...My little guy is loving riding and keeping up pretty good on the green lift accesed runs @ C.O.P here in Calgary. He needs suspension and good brakes, I have him on a Spawn Furi and he loves it, but he gets tossed arround pretty good. My wife is gonna kill me, but @ 4 years old he needs a $ 2000 bike...lol

I'm ordering one of these for him in the spring. They are just sick.
16' inch wheels btw.....

Picked up a Bianchi Jab 29.1 yesterday so I can ride during the winter when the road bike is parked.

hahaaa all good then man, I was hoping we were keeping it clean - been a good thread so far with not arguing - when was the last time that happened on Vital?

Sounds like you better go get training and get it back, hey at least you have a KOM Smile - I just recently got strava on my iphone to track my rides, its pretty cool (despite my smack talking about it previously) and I am happy beating my best each time I go out, i'll never be the fastest but I have a lot of fun trying.

you know there is a strava vital club? join it and compare miles and metres against the rest of us

Hi Jamie, I thought the same thing when I joined Strava, beating my own PRs was good enough... now I have several KOMs in my area Smile

Also, KGASpeed is already a member in the Vital Strava Club.

Just picked up a 2011 scratch 8 to match my session. Should be a great little shred sled.

So there can't be one thread about mountain biking, Meatdick? Some people will find anything to bitch about.

There is a lot of crossover from moto to MTB - it's nice connecting with moto guys that also ride the mtb too.

But thanks for taking the time to chime in, in a negative way, for your second post.

Nice! I almost picked up a 2012 a few weeks back but have decided that for my area a more enduro bike fit's my needs. Lookin' to pick up the new YT Capra before summer comes!
