This is the nice shot of Daniel Milner finger after they had pulled the tip back over and stitched it up, one very tough kid!

Racing in a Hoodie?

Cripes, next thing, we'll see Zachy Pooh riding with the Wheelie Boyz.

What happened to him? Hope he's not out through injury.

A bit of Claret. I would have cried like a big baby.

A mate of mine sent me n SMS about it, saying "it wouldn't have happened if he ran full Bark Busters".

I reminded him that he lost the top of his finger last year when he did what we Bark Buster users often do, and "rode her into the ground", not letting go of the bars. You usually get up, with no problems - Except, that one time leaving his hands on the bar, his finger got severed by being caught between the bars, and a bloody big rock, taking it off at the joint. When Hughie wants to get you, he does.......................

It would have been worse with full bark busters IMHO. His finger was crushed between the end of his bar and a rock (rock/rubber). Imagine if he had bark busters, it would have been metal/rock.

Too bad pour Milner, he always kills it at the ISDE ! I sure hope USA does good, as long as France remains ahead.

Mullins lost 8 mn in a test. Doesn't sound good for the USA team. Let's hope it's just a mechanical.

Great first day, probably the best ever for our Team as a whole. All trophy riders in the top 15 (except Osborne obviously) and 9 out of the top 10 club riders! Bravo boys!

However, it's gonna be tough being one guy down already, doable though, they are just gonna have to be flawless.

Looks silty, probably filters at every pit I'd imagine for the top guys, can't be too careful with 5 days of hard riding to go. I'd be curious to know how many filters the KTM service truck brought!

I'm predicting Taylor Robert to start getting some test wins in the coming days. He should be "in the groove" after today.

Bummer for the Aussies about Milner.
Looking at the terrain the West Coast riders should do really well this year, since it looks an awful lot like what the guys race in the WORCs, and NHHA, and West Hare Scrambles, and BITD, etc.

Hopefully team USA can keep it up!!! It's a long week, with infinite variables...and anything can (and will) happen.

Having worked on the Penton film for almost 2 years I got sucked into this quest for a USA World Trophy Team title. Still hasn't happened even 33 years after USA wins the MXdN in 1981.

Good luck to all the riders over there! C'mon USA!

Well, not looking too good now.

Haven't read exactly what happened to Mullins, but whatever it was, that's a big chunk of time he lost.

Glad to see Taylor get a couple wins today!

Couple of heavy crashes apparently.

One thing that bums me out with the isde is the reporting. Fuck it's a hard event to really follow!

I hear ya there!

I read on another forum where Jason Hooper said the FIM wanted a $5k fee just to be able to post 2 minutes of video a day.

What?!?

Is Guiseppe running that shit too?

I don't get how these agencies think that will work, like what website can justify that... ridiculous!

It's ridiculous. No wonder the riders are struggling to get support from their teams to participate in this event. A lot of competition is missing when there are no trophy teams from Finland or Sweden.

Yeah, especially given the Fin's and Swede's offroad prowess!

Pretty pathetic those countries not sending teams. Distance is no excuse, Aus goes every year, further distances. And I highly doubt the tight arses at MA are kicking in much coin for the riders. I know one of our girls, and she spends all year fundraising and chasing sponsors for this and the EWC.
Although I'm sure lack of funds wouldn't be limited to Australian riders either.

Damn, I didn't even notice that Italy was missing as well.

The Finnish federation almost didn't send an MXDN team this year due to lack of funding. Kegums is 400 km from our capital for Pete's sake! So I don't think anyone here was waiting for them to send an ISDE team to Argentina.

That's not exactly a lot of gas money!

I don't get how Mossy couldn't get suspension shipped over for us, but securing a factory bike was the best option...

Dunno... He's been before, and it seems like the boys were on the hook for the honour of wearing the green and gold...

Either way i'll blame MA... I mean really. What do they do?

Bewley and Green gone for the Aussies, there goes a podium this year. Shame, cause our other 3 boys are killing it. US had a good day, would be nice to see them push France all the way.

France hasn't had a rider drop out yet...

USA had a good day, but Robert had a 9 minute penalty due a penalty.

Assuming France (like most other teams) loses a rider, it could sure tighten up the race for the next three days.

McCormack is also out Sad Looks like the dust and sand took its toll on some bikes out there today.
Still, we have Price, Strang and Phillips out there flying the flag, I hope all three can stay in the top 10 overall.

On the bright side, our Womens team are absolutely flogging everyone, now over an hour and 20 minutes in front!
