Yep you are correct Bytor. I have been on about 6 or 7 ride days over the years with mx vacations and have had a great time each time. I will be in touch with John from there again for another ride day next year.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. Me and 3 buddies used them in 07. I would totally do it again.

If riding Milestone, you can go to 'show up and ride mx rentals.com' and just go day-by-day, contact Tony at 951-479-6931.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Looks like I'll be getting my tired, out of shape ass on a 250F in a few weeks. Can't wait!

I might be ready for Hangtown.

As everyone else has stated, John is a class act, and does a great job!!
Plus you can get your windows tinted while you ride if you need some tint on
your ride!!! You will definitely enjoy yourself though, and John is great company.

Window tinting??? Oh well THAT does it!

I just got a white 2012 Acura TSX and it could use a little tint action. Just kidding. Right now I need to concentrate on getting through this ride day without busting my ass. It's been about 5-6 years since I last rode.

I used MX Vacations some time back to go to the White Brothers National race at Glen Helen. They set me up with a bike, a place to stay, a ride to and from the track, food, drinks, a motor home at the track and a mechanic. It was like being a factory rider for a few days. We rode open practice on Thursday, Vet practice on Friday and raced both Saturday and Sunday. There were 8 riders in our group from all over the world. All had a great time. John and Susan are a class act!

Hey Everyone. John here. Thank you for the kind words. It means a lot to know all of the hard work was appreciated. However, just want to let you all know that as of Jan 1, 2013, I am no longer the owner of MX Vacations. It's been a great 10 years meeting people from all over the world and I'm very proud that Suzi and I have helped create an industry that has brought so many people to experience SoCal's MX Mecca. Dave Fontes is the new owner, he's a fun guy and a good friend. I'm stil riding every week so hope to see you at the track.

I had my ride day with http://lamxrentals.com on Saturday at Perris. I had a great time and owner Dave Fontes made sure I had everything I needed. He set me up with '12 YZ250F.

It was my first time riding in about 6 years and the first on a 4-stroke. I spent most of the day on the vet track (which wasn't prepped very well) but at the end of the day I got on the bigger track that they had been racing on earlier. I had a much more fun on that track. At the end of the day I ran into Bryan Friday who had been racing.

It renews my already high level of respect for the talent it takes to ride MX. I had a blast even though the next day I could barely move because I was so sore over my entire body. I certainly plan on doing it again in the future.
