- the jlaw vs. kalisch saga was pretty good
- p vs the world has always been entertaining
- but my all-time fav, one i will never forget was when KTMBOY and (I cant remember his name for some damn reason) were going at it big-time, and eventually decided to settle things in a big show-down race. The loser having to post BOOBIE pics of his girlfriend. It was kinda a big deal at the time, and when KTMBOY lost, he renegged on the deal and wouldnt put up the pics and took a thrashing for it.
that wasnt the biggest or best fight of all-time here by any means, just one of my earliest memories. I'd only lurked for about a year prior to that, didnt have much of a post count, and was looking to avoid getting bashed by the likes of bobbym and EID. but after reading and getting the vibe of this place, i knew i only had to wait for someone to go down and if i jumped in with the mob i could find my niche. hahahaha....that musta been like 5 years ago.
who was it who won the showdown? i apologize for not remembering as to give you credit. and that sux cause to my knowledge that has been the only showdown of its king in this places history. my bad.
MikeeeP and his deal was as good as a meltdown could get.
Rich Cain and his accident, the rally to help a fellow friend in need...and then the absolute turn around when he sued Lou and his track. He became the scapegoat for all frustrations on track suers. Everyone hated him, I believe. His arrogant posturing did not help anything...but like MikeeeP or Bruhn...he could leave it alone and felt defending himself might just change one person's mind. It was pointless and only compounded what everyone thought in the first place.
Scott Kandel, Before Wonder Warthog Racing...Kandel was one of us. He would provoke everyone. Even got the point where he was absolutely hated. At one point he excused himself to say it was all some elaborate Sociology experiment for his PhD. No one bought that. But they did buy his love of Moto and charity to help MX. Not sure how it's going nowadays? But the effort was A+. I can only imagine it's a labor of love and not making the kind of money he dreamed. The whole marketing was amateurish with the t-shirts and stickers, IMO. It also didn't help that 90% of Motodrive hated him.
Mutt collecting money to fly up to Michigan to beat up XMIKEX. That was a while ago...and they're friends now. But XMIKEX knew which buttons to press. We'd been friends on Fresh Dirt since 97 and he would even push my buttons. But he's a good guy and if you chatted with him you'd know that. He looked at these forums as a canvas and purely for his amusement. He provoked everyone--right/left/blacks/whites/board mods.
Hammertime was a good one. He loved fucking with anyone, myself included. Absolutely hated the guy then he invited me to drinks before Washougal and he became a friend. Plus...he's one of the few who was booted from every forum and said, Fuck it...I'm starting my own forum.
BobbyM is a legend and there's too much to gloss on about his antics. But when he provokes G-Man...I seriously bust out laughing. Something too funny about it all.
Bauer a legend who was by far one of the most cocky, arrogant person to grace a board. If XEWBX were in moto alot he'd give him a running as most arrogant and unwilling to back down on any subject--right or wrong.
Yamaboy--Some of the funniest, poignant PS pics around. I've never laughed so hard at the P pictures. Guess they reminded me of Beetle Juice from Stern. The pics aren't stupid either...good insight to the person's character from the board. He did one of me and I was pissed, flattered and laughing at the same time.
Lenny--Fricken rocks. Used to love reading his comebacks to people egging him on...so simple: "Go suck your momma's dick" or something like that. He's great for this board and pure moto.
EI Dave--The cleaner. He's taken to noble role to help weed out the undesired on here. I could care less about Noobs...I do hate when they jump on regulars with intimidation.
Aplman-The Great Debater who was a help to Dave in keeping people in check. May not of always agreed with his persistency...but he never wavered. Always called me out on any exaggeration in football talks. Seemed to be a thorn in everyone's side, mind including. I guess XEWBX ran him off from what someone told me. I find that hard to believe. He's now a thorn in Bruhn's side at his site. They will both argue into infinity.
Alphado-Loved the shtick of replying with an appropriate pic to a thread. Always a good laugh during boring days. I remember when he was asking whomever would listen about photography. Now, I think he's an actual paid photographer. Good for him.
Mutt-I'll never forget when he told the story about road raging some exec at his company and being fired that day. Funny and sad. But didn't surprise anyone who knew him from here.
OCscottie--Our resident tech guru and probably the most beloved by older members. Great guy and as PURE OF MOTO as anyone I've know. BobbyM gives him a run. It might be because neither of them can ride anymore? Either way...no one can touch their passion and willingness to share.
HillBilly--Great moto-head, someone who doesn't see eye to eye with everyone, but pure moto. His life vest Chest Protector Thread was funny as shit. We used to share opiate secrets...hope he finally got off them! His shine is unreal...become his friend and he might give you a jam jar full of the White Lightening.
FTE--Resident legal scholar and voice of reason.
TJ--The best board mod without a board mod job. Miss his blue type!
Soo many more I missed but I just realized this is getting way TOO long.
I've always known even if I hated a guys politics or thought we'd have nothing in common outside of MX, the possibity of being friends was always open due to MX and bikes.

this type of thread should come around at least once a year....mandatory. like noob bashing it kinda resets the place, puts it in perspective, and brings everyone together for a brief moment.
and where's ringer been?
Scott still is one of us, he hasnt changed - just busy as ever with his WWR stuff. Its been a long time since there was a good "cornholing" around here.
Whos got a pic of the RC voodoo doll?
I photoshopped Scott a cool Warthog pic throwing the finger with an animated snout years ago.
I've seen a lot of stuff go down on the boards (motoworld, motodrive, vital) but I seriously think that tops all of the meltdowns.
Though I'm particularly fond of the premix catastrophy...
But Orvil still tops them all...IMHO
Oh, wait a minute, here it comes I think....
AH FUCK, just another error message!!!!
So, lemme get this straight. The guy tried to fake his own death? Was he playin' everyone, or serious?
BLOAT, you need a mention, too. The board wouldn't be the same without ya.
ahhh, i think i remember now, was it t-fish who beat ktmboy137?
1. village people
2. press conference
3. jlaw and kalisch
Pit Row
Orvil's "wife" sent me an emotional email saying how she couldn't believe how mean the people were on here.
I posted her email online. That's all I had in it - I guess Orv chose me because he had previously started a PM dialogue with me to get some bible question answered.
og
Did you get his full name? Easy enough to look up a death record online.
night
This one is my second favorite Yamaboy pic.
Marty was always fun and will be missed. Tim you got it in early but bro, its never to late in any post to remember him..
I miss hooking up with the gang at different races throughout the year. L.L., Mini-o's, ECT.
That one year in Daytona was a blast.. Anyone else remember that?
Mikeeeeeeeep

Lenny and P vs the white guys.
I didn't know Marty and stayed out of those threads. I know that had to be hard for those of you who are is friends.
