If it's like a backfire popping issue, then try adjusting the fuel screw...should be on the underside of the carb. Would also recommend getting an extended fuel screw to make the adjustments easier.

C'Mon Bobby you know dam well that's all in good fun. If you feel that way I am sorry to hear that. Now I am dick you and Jay dish out the shit all year long and I make a few remarks and your all up in arms.

Well if that's all it takes to piss you off I guess I most have been out of line and I didn't even know it. Oh so G-Man thinks that about me too. I only see him or you once a year. Maybe me you and him should man up and have a big boy talk and put all of our anger aside and get drunk!

Sorry you feel that way.

Exhaust leak, most likely at the exhaust port.
Dick Man was awesome in his day, Glad to see his name come up.

Why you got to drag me into this Tom ?

Normally the pop is just a little lean condition on the bottom .
like said already try backing out the fuel screw a little 1/4 turn at a time.

Simply because you love to give me shit but at least when you do I know your just busting my balls and it 's not that big of deal, but I throw a screwball at Bobby and he tells me to shut the Fuck up like the Modern Day Drill Sargent from Full Metal Jacket! That is hating on a brother, so go figure.

Thanks for the tip Jay I do appreciate it and I also thank the rest off you for your help to.
The checks are in the mail.

running lean. Did you put an aftermarket exhaust on it? Could be anything from exhaust leak, to just adjusting your fuel screw, to a richer main jet.

If the fuel screw adj. doesn't do it, try one size larger on the pilot. That's what it took on our 04 CRF250 with a pipe swap.

Newmann is right go to one larger pilot jet. You could also lower the clip on your needle.

It's usually lean on the pilot side or you need to seal the headers at the exhaust port/manifold.
