Doug is amazing I I started riding again this year after being off a bike since 1998 , incomplete T12/L1 burst fracture , giving up on riding was the most miserable time in my life way to go Doug !!!! "living in fear of what might happen is not living at all its losing life ."

i knew he broke his back again but I tried every way I know to find out that he was gonna fully recover or not.....I 'm a huge fan of him, as I felt very connected to him after I broke my back as well in '97. After a long rehabilitation and learning to walk all I could think of was riding the bike again, when people told me that i was stupid and crazy I always said look at Henry, He was out, made a unbelievable return and played a big role in history riding the first 4 stroke in years, win an SX on it and even became outdoor champion. I wanted to do like him and get everything out of my talent as possible, I got on a YZ400F too and afther that i became the youngest rider to qualify for a gp 500, injuries prevented me from getting much further, but he was always my inspiration.....i wish he was fully recovered but in typical Doug Henry style he's getting the most out of life yet again! I'm so proud but it brings a tear in my eyes as well.
