Ben Townley Introducing SPEEDCROSS to New Zealand 3

SPEEDCROSS is the inspiration product of Ben Townley that is the combination and tweaking of motocross, supercross and speedway. The concept is something New Zealand has never seen before. It comes at a time when supercross is lacking in support from riders for a number of reasons including the costs involved to set up a bike and the lack of facilities available to train on.

Speedcross looks to tackle these issues. Tracks are extremely simple to build and can be fit into relatively small pieces of land making it ideal for both nation wide racing and demonstrations. As well as this, little bike modification is required which helps relieve the pressure on everyones wallets.

Where : Taupo, SPEEDCROSS track

When : Saturday 14th December, 2:00pm – 5:00pm

Who : Mini’s, Junior’s, Vet’s, Seniors (will be broken into classes)

Cost : $10.00

The track will be watered and prepped up like a “race event” for all to experience SPEEDCROSS. The 2 big doubles have been filled in and are now tabletop jumps, so the track is now 3 big tabletop jumps and 1 set of rollers.
