Sure the bikes look like rolling art on Saturdays, but it's the weekly maintenance that makes them that way.

Awesome. This sort of stuff almost interests me more than watching the races. I'd like to know some things about what their practices are about greasing and things like that. If you're tearing down a steering stem bearing after every day's worth of riding, do they put just enough grease on there to last the weekend or pack each bearing like an average Joe who doesn't go into the bike but once every quarter. What do they use for cleaning? I heard him say Mr. Clean, but what about solvents? I got a whole list of them.

I wish it only took me an hour to take mine down to the frame. But I guess if your doing it every week you fix a lot of problems before they become a hassle.
