Its very simple Mike. Dressing well is a form of good manners. My firm just finished the interior of the new Little Caesar's Hockey Arena in Detroit. When my employees go in front of camera & talk about the project, they wear company hats & polo shirts. I am projecting a professional image & since I'm paying my guys to provide labor & represent my company, I want them to look professional. Maybe KTM & Red Bull don't care that Herlings wore his hat backwards. That's their deal. Dress like you own the bank, not like you need a loan from it.

I have two problems with that argument. 1) Red Bulls target audience (and maybe even KTMs to an extent) are young backwards hat wearing young people that can relate to Herlings and the way he wears his cloths. 2) Herlings employer obviously have no problem with it and Herlings himself makes millions.

Red Bull is all about being unique, original and having style. Would go against their entire brand ethos to start telling their top talent how to dress after they just dominated their competition.

Great end to the season! Thanks to Jeffrey for treating us to his talent and congrats to Marvin and Blake for enduring a tough year and pushing hard to the end. And of course to Eli for his Championship! Moto Rules!
