What's the story on Yam going from 22mm offset triples to 25mm? I guess that would explain the long/heavy feel of the bike, and the lack of front bite. When most riders these days are going for 18mm offset from 22mm for better steering & stability.

Based on the math involved with front-end trail, increasing the offset should increase turning capabilities and decrease stability. I've never fully agreed with the math, as I've found that front-end weight and total bike length makes a difference as well.

Me Bell. You're now the Gold Standard of these onsite video test. Everybody except for Basher needs to study your talents for a year or more before they make another.
Very well done sir!!!

Wow...A bike test where the test rider actually knows whats going on. Kudos.

Bobby Bell is a great test rider! An off-road Pro who knows what he likes, gives very good feedback and seems relatively impartial. Thanks @vitalmx @ml512 and bbell.
