    Dan, while an electric motor makes for a pretty perfect trail rig (perfect throttle response and sensitivity, instant torque, no stalling), we feel the range (50mi/2 hours of aggressive trail use) is too limited for us to market an Enduro at this point. Running out of battery deep in the woods is something we don't want our customers to ever deal with.

    Any plans for an enduro version? Would have to be waterproof for stream crossings

    Im sure these things are fun and fast, all I know is I hope that they do not take over motocross. But i definetly wouldnt mind owns one for fun, just not serious motocross.

    Adens, yeah, it'll definitely be tougher than going from 2T to 4T. The approach we've taken is to engineer it around a competitive and fair power output to compete in Lites. If the rules can be about power, or power and weight, rather than how you achieve them, I think we could have some really exciting racing with both gas and electrics in the field.

    I wonder what the rule book says about electric engine size? So does electric get 3X the size advantage of a 2-stroke?

    Davis, it'll do a thirty minute moto under a pro podium contender, so yes. Most amateurs would get around an hour at full race pace. To do a full day of practice, qual, and finals, you would definitely need to be topping it off in the pits though. A full charge takes 4 hours from a 110V/15A outlet, 2 hours from a 220V. It comes with the 110 charger (off-board).

    Also, the bikes are not silent. They sound like little turbine engines. It's not nearly as loud, but it definitely turns heads. Especially when we would spin it up in the middle of the show.

    PCP, nice catch. Shouldn't happen again, once we stop switching prototypes from MX to SM and back.

    Tyrus, it's more solid than you'd think, and by the time the bike hits production, it will be just as capable of handling a cased triple as the gassers. Whether we can get these into a points series or not, I want to be the first electric to hit a SX triple.

    You wouldn't fall asleep at a supercross full of these things because Poison and Journey would be blaring from the speakers along with the voice of some local DJ who knows nothing about mx but used to race 80's back in the day.

    Seems like a good design but the question i wana ask Is battery life. How long will it last? Will it last up to 30 min motos running it as hard as you can? How do you recharge it at the track? Does it come with some kind of charger?. Keep up the good work and hope to see one at the track one day.

    Where the battery is located I have a feeling if you come up short on a supercross jump it's going to break the plastic cover and ruin the battery! And then you screwed.

    All that R&D and impressive manufacturing and the brake cable is routed on the outside of the fork guard? come on now, I know you're smarter than that !

    Just kidding, I'd really be interested in trying one of those out. Consider lot's of demo days at local track, I would imagine it's going to be difficult to break the ways of the old doggers out there.

    I've gotta give you credit for the work that you've put into it so far. Amazing. It's good to see a bike being developed in the US. I'm interested to see what the bike can do in the dirt.

    Motodave, we did our initial testing in supermoto trim because at the time we were focused on validating power output (and yes, it's an honest 40 rwhp). It's much easier to put the power down on pavement. The bikes have also seen dirt testing and we shared some video of that at the expo. I can promise you these bikes will see plenty of motocross abuse before we let them into the hands of paying customers next year.

    Looks great... BUT!!! Why would you test @ a roadcourse instead of going to a mx track, since thats going to be your market?...they could have went to hangtown or any of the plethora of tracks to test for mx.
