Date of Birth

James Stewart is a professional Motocross/Supercross rider from Haines City, Florida. He turned pro in 2002 and has ridden for Kawasaki, Yamaha, and Suzuki throughout his career. He's been widely regarded as one of the sport's greatest riders, and his 24-0 Motocross season in 2008 still stands as one of the greatest displays of dominance in the history of the sport. He started his career on the Pro Circuit Kawasaki team and eventually moved up to the premier class with the Factory Kawasaki team. Eventually, he left Factory Kawasaki and signed with JGR Yamaha. He had some success with the team, but he decided to leave in the middle of 2012 and sign with the Yoshimura Suzuki team. In 2015, he signed a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki that would keep him on yellow through 2018. The contract would be broken early, though, due to Yoshimura Suzuki folding at the end of the 2016 season. He did not race the 2017 season, and it is unlikely he will ever race again.
