661 K&N MX XStream Top Air Filters

K&N’s New Line-up of MX XStream Top Air Filters have proven themselves to provide huge gains in air-flow.  Since day one, the K&N Filters have had a substantial advantage in that they are a pleated filter.  This manufacturing technique provides a larger filtration area than the stock foam filter, offering increased airflow while allowing you to ride more between cleanings.  Combine that with an easy-to-install two piece design and you are sure to be impressed.  K&N now has applications for most of your 4 Stroke MX’ers and soon to have the last of the 2 Strokes covered as well.  Retail is $80.00

I just put this filter on my CRF250R and I love it. With the first couple of laps on the track I felt a huge difference. The bike started to breath better and no matter what I had instant throttle everywhere with snappy response even if I was in the wrong gear at times.

My son races motocross. We have been using these filters for approximately 3 years and love them. No dirt has ever got in We ride sand tracks where the outside of the filter has been caked and nothing inside. . We use the filter grease. Very easy to clean with the K&N filter cleaner. Makes the bike run better. Love these filters.

I have been using these for about a year and I noticed a power gain right away. Also, I have never seen any dirt / dust in the boor of my airbox when I have removed it for cleaning... Also they are was easier to get in and out of the airbox than a foam filter with a cage on it... K&N makes good stuff!

I heard that they are terrible for your bike because the dirt and sand suks right though it... I really wish someone would clear this up for me... I also heard they at about 5 horsepower to your bike.
