First look: 2014 Fly Racing Kinetic Mesh Racewear 1

If you were watching the Daytona Supercross this weekend, you may have spotted some new sets of gear from the guys and gals at Fly Racing. What you saw was their Spring release of Kinetic Mesh racewear, their new line to combat the heat for those looking for a refreshing cool breeze. In some parts of the country the snow is finally melting, in other parts we're starting to break a sweat while putting in the laps. With a lack of winter and an increased temperature here in California, the new gear arrived at our office just in time.

The Kinetic Mesh is Fly Racing's newest lightweight vented gear. The jersey is made completely from vented material, with no solid sections, offering great airflow. The pants are a standout out with their minimalistic approach. They are made almost entirely of a light mesh material, outside of the rear-end portion (which is a solid material) and the knees, which still have two large intakes on each side to allow air in. The set was included with Fly's Lite Race glove which takes a similar approach, featuring a breathable material on the top, with no stitching along the palm, and a slide on cuff (no velcro closure).

Not a cloud in the sky, the Kinetic Mech racewear was a nice welcome to the warmer days approaching. Photo by Andre Barbosa.

There are three colorways available in Fly's Spring release of the Kinetic Mesh racewear.
