How many people can say they raced a so called works Indian? The importer brought this over from Italy and I had the opportunity to race it as an intermediate. I had Corona pretty wired and it was a few weeks before I turned pro. In practice, I blew the front wheel, motor mounts and bent both shocks in half. They got it all fixed and in the first moto I destroyed the rear wheel and hub. So much for Indian in SoCal MX. At least I got a cool pic out of it where you can see the Indian logo on the tank!
