Before the gate dropped for Moto 1, Jessica Patterson had some problem getting her Honda started, but they were successful in bumping it (and probably boosting her heart rate at the same time). Tarah Gieger hit the gate and got stuck, and once the gate dropped, it was Ashley Fiolek who jumped into the lead.
