We heard one team commenting on the JDR/J-Star/KTM team not having an awning set up during the rain on Saturday. Actually, it was that some gusty winds on Friday had flipped it over the top of their rig. A very large (and very expensive) Red Bull Energy Station set up on top of one of the hills was also flipped over and damaged...and that was before the really windy weather on Saturday that wreaked havoc on the track setup, delaying the start of the first 250 moto. Mother Nature doesn't play.
