After Trey Canard snagged a Tuff Blox cover and got landed on by Ryan Morais on a triple at Dodger Stadium, the cry went out to find a better way to secure the covers than gravity and friction. I can think of a few reasons why they wouldn't. They're not cheap. They get transported from race to race. They get run over and abused. Sponsors change. In short, they'd look horrible pretty rapidly.

Why can't they just paint logos on the actual box?
