Vital MX Pit Bits: Millville

Before we get rolling too deep here, we'd like to offer up a big Get Well Soon to Nick Wey, who crashed hard and ended up with a dislocated hip. Yeowch.
You're listening to: MotoConcepts' Mike Alessi.
Mike's been charging hard this summer.
Jimmy Albertson was bumping elbows with Ryan Dungey and Justin Brayton after laying down the third-fastest practice time. Millville has one of the more fair starting gate setups, as evidenced by these guys lining up just outside of the doghouse.
You're listening to: Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Bones Bacon.
Broc Tickle had a new set of Pro Circuit pegs, which have serial numbers on them. Which set did he get? Number 025.
We talked to Mike Brown about his Red Bud troubles before the start of racing on Saturday at Millville.
Brownie came back to score 12 points at Spring Creek. With three races left, there's little doubt that he'll score enough to retain that permanent number three plate.
Troy Lee and the Troy Lee Designs Lucas Oil Honda crew make motocross and Supercross more colorful.
Fan-cam. We're not sure why he opted for that spelling...though we were told that he knew it was wrong.
This one was on the bar pad of Kyle Regal's Toyota/JGRMX/Yamaha before practice.
You're listening to: Toyota/JGRMX/Yamaha's Coy Gibbs. It'll be interesting to see who they land for 2013.
You're listening to: Jeff Ward Racing/DNA Energy's Paul Delaurier.
Josh Grant and Oscar Wirdeman.
Marvin Musquin's a lucky guy. Mathilde helps keep him dialed.
KTM was hosting some visitors from Austria this weekend. Ryan Dungey mentioned in the post-race press conference that KTM has provided everything that he and Roger DeCoster have asked, for, and you can tell that Pit Beirer was pretty pumped on Ryan's win.
You're listening to: Sean Hackley.

With some extra time on his hands on Friday, GEICO Honda's Jay Burgess was helping dial in Wil Hahn's Fox chest protectors with some extra ventilation. We were questioning his drill technique, but he assured us that there was plenty of padding between the bit and his leg.
Justin Barcia getting a little loose during practice.
Tommy Hahn had an odd reaction during the first 250 moto. When we talked to him, his eyes were still nearly swollen shut, and he said that was much better than they'd been earlier in the day.
Tommy's still hunting for a potential ride in 2013, but isn't planning on going the self-sponsored route.
Andrew Short scored the RC Hard Charger award after being involved in the big first turn crash at Red Bud. Getting the bike back in shape with limited time between motos (in addition to the regular maintenance) is tough.
Big props to John Dowd, still flying in his late 40s.
Alex Martin describes what it's like when all the riders and fans invade the Spring Creek MX facility.
Here's a quick preview on Washougal from Eli Tomac.
