Pit Bits - Glen Helen

Let's take a little peek at Sean Collier's KX500 shall we? Yeah, the custom-painted wooden stands that the Fasthouse guys did for him are pretty cool, and we'd bet that Sean actually feels a bit bad when he comes in and drops the bike on it after a moto. The Beast name seems appropriate. Check out that pipe. Oh, and scroll down for more photos.

Sean checks in with MXA's Jody Weisel during press day. Yep, Jody was as busy as ever working on the track.

Can The Beast be a humpback and a swayback at the same time? Decide for yourself. Oh, and it does have some modern touches to it, like the Showa air forks.

It looks like Uncle Donnie at FMF did up a custom silencer for The Beast.

With that pipe hanging out the side of the bike, there's no mistaking that it's a five-hundy.

Sean and a couple other riders were slated to do the two-stroke exhibition race, and also their normal racing class. Sean Lipanovich didn't qualify, and Michael Sleeter got hurt, so Collier may have been the only rider to double-dip.

With all the practices and motos, Sean had a whole slew of Fasthouse jerseys ready. We're kind of digging the vintage feel of the Flying Machine Factory jersey on the far left.
