Supercross Kickoff!

Press Day at the season-opener of the Monster Energy Supercross series at Anaheim? It's all about checking out new equipment, watching the riders nervously fidget at the press conference, and okay, checking out which girls Monster brought out for the event. Hi, Mercedes.

Yep, some business gets handled, like going over last year's attendance figures, this year's TV package, and Feld Motorsports giving the Asterisk Mobile Medical crew a check for $100,000. Nice!

Oh yeah, Ryan Villopoto also scored his second straight Championship ring for winning the big-bore class. That's him you're listening to here.

Josh Grant getting some laps in on his Toyota/JGRMX/Yamaha. Yep, it's sporting a black frame and swingarm.

Josh Hill on his RCH Dodge Sycuan Suzuki.

You're listening to: Kevin Windham. Kevin pulled off the most random drive-by yesterday, when he stopped by our offices after seeing the Vital MX trailer parked outside. It was cool to see him stop by, but even better to see him on the track today.

You're listening to: James Stewart. Last night at Troy Lee's Laguna shop was all fun. Today was all serious business.

Kevin Windham took to the track after the press ride and sized up his transfer for the season opening ceremonies. Yep, after several months off from racing and riding, K-Dub has still got it.

Press Day at Anaheim 1 is always a good way to check out the riders, equipment, and track for round 1.
