Part of the format change for this year's race included head-to-head races at the start of the night's show. Winners could earn an extra bonus point toward their overall total. In the first one, Tyler Bowers beat out Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Michael Byrne, with Tyler on a 250F, rather than the big-bore machine. At one point, Byrne went for an inside move, and Bowers braked hard. Byrne was expecting him to be there, and instead, he ended up going over the berm. Credit: GuyB
